Thats horrible. I pitty the people that work in LA and live on the outskirts. Probably cost them $30-$50 every day just to get to work :(

That's insane even for CA... you know where exactly that is?

we need about 2 - 4 years of this to get our energy policy properly aligned. As long as gas is cheaper than milk, we're udderly spoiled.

There's a place in between my town and Big Sur called Gorda in which gas is routinely $3.50/gallon and up, but that's only because it's the ultimate tourist trap - in the middle of nowhere, on the only road, full service only.

Ya poor dears, cry me a f*cken river.:p ;) :D ....Welcome to planet Earth. As far as I know your petrol is still the cheapest in the OECD.

Diesel in the bay has shot from $1.89 to $2.50, filling our Ford costs about $80 and to fill our Suburban is north of $100...sheesh a little four banger sounds good right now.

Yep...lots of opportunists at work.....the valley I live in is kind of isolated, the cheapest off-brand gas here is now 2.39. I would guess it's close to 4.00 for full serve in Montecito.

I rural Western WA last night I found gas at $2.199 a gallon. Closer into Seattle it was $2.229-2.249 for the cheap stuff. I am sure you can add another $.10 onto those numbers if you were closer into Seattle.

National average was just under $2.00 a gallon (about $1.97ish?) I think AAA was putting out the numbers. Found it here: http://www.fuelgaugereport.com/

I figure it will cost me about $45 to fill my Dodge Dakota V6's 20 gallon gas tank today after driving the 7hr round trip to a race this weekend....where I just took pictures. :) On the up stide I met up with friends and had a good time just hanging out.

My '00 Dakota 3.9L V6 gets about 18-19 in town and about 22 on the freeway. 20mpg if I do 80mph....22 if I go about 55-60mph. It is about the same as my old '88 Ford Ranger 2.9L V6. I averaged 20mpg mixed around town and freeway.

I pay $5 a gallon, and Norway is the second largest producer of oil in the world - nationwise...
