Hello.
Anyone have acess to oldschool Rockshox service manuals etc? I need to know how much oil, procedures etc for restoring a old Rockshox July doublecrown. I think it's preceeds 1998 at least. Dont have anything past -99 myself...
Pdfs or scans helps.. Also direct input in this thread...
Thank you in advance.. :)

What i really need to know is how much oil goes in the fork.. And some kind of technical scetch that tell you what goes where..

There is 2 versions. If it has the "C3" cartridge in it, you dont touch it. If its oil bath, fill it will it no longer makes a burping noise, basicly till it covers the top of the cartridge when its extended.
Take it apart like another other RS fork. undo the bolts a few turns, hit em with a hammer, then slide it apart.

Im outta luck.. The seals they could muster for me didn't fit. The shock is old and worn..
It's a -97 with springs and elastomers in both ends..
CLeaned out and patched up.. Will run the last of it's life now.. Keeping it clean and the seals in check should do the trick..
It comes a time when old yeller just gets a slug to the brain.. Most humane thing really.. ;)
