Battle of the Bear question

Ok, so i've heard this course is rough and rockey and such, so my question is should i use my DH bike of my hardtail that has a super stiff fork?

Take both, ride each during practice, time yourself and run whichever is faster.

Last year, though really snowy and muddy, most people (including me) were on DH bikes. A stiff fork is not really too good for the upper 4 turns.

Full Trucker is a wise man and I think he offers some sounds advice.

I had the same question only I only own a Freeride Hardtail. Is it gonna be pointless for me to go out there on it? (im mighty fast, though)

Hell, I was thinking about just racing my DJ hardtail, once I put 3 cogs on it hehe. I still think it's stupid you can't race a single speed. But then again I suppose they have to keep seperate from bmx cruisers.
