Hi everyone. I'm just posting on here to see if anyone knows this guy I bought a 5th Element coil shock from. His ad is on mtbr.com and claimed an "as new" shock but upon receiving it, it spews oil from the rebound adjuster and even though it has an '04 sticker and was claimed as '04, appears to be much older with a secondary sticker. Here is the link to the ad:

His name is Dan Dietrich, please let me know if you have any info. Thanks. :(

Don't know the guy.
But did you talk to him about the fact that you're not happy?

Yeah, apparently it came off an '03 Heckler of which he had ridden once (who knows how many other rides). He says he honestly didn't know it leaked and I asked for $75 back to cover the repairs. We'll see if I get it. I was under the impression it was a 2004 brand new, one ride. Guess I won't believe ads anymore. Aren't the stickers with the big "5th" 2004 only?
