Headset and New Shock

I had a headset on my bike mounted with a Rock Shox Judy SL. I just got a Manitou Comp Six to mount on my bike and it wobbles inside of the headset. See, I bought a bike frame with the Manitou shock mounted to it, so I put that headset on, and it still wobbles inside of my frame. Where do I go from here? I gotta ride, so I need to get this fixed!

Sounds like your crown race is missing. There should be a tapered metal or plastic ring around the bottom of your steerer tube on the Judy fork. Pull it off and put it on the steerer tube for the Manitou.

Kinda looks like a spacer but tapered
