Me and my buddy were riding on galbrath for a short ride down bobs and my trusty nokin gallazoddi slipped on some dry dirt takin the corner and you can tell what happened next. My side of my face was all cut and scrached up. Plus the best part is half my front tooth is now hanging from my mouth. pritty tight! :dead:

The worst things i've done is punched a hole in my hand, broke a rib, and ripped off half my thumbnail.
i'm very grateful, i've been "kinda" lucky.

At the begining of the trail. Before the log rides. First crash on bob's.:(

Wow, I thought that it would be more toward the end of Bobs, where it's rougher. Bob's seems to have a bad record on crashes for some reason.:dead:
Thats not cool.

You guys got nothin' on me, at least for crash dramaticism. I fell off the cliff on the ridge trail (where you ride over the big tree root near the edge) backwards. Then there was the time i face planted on the tranny of the original big log ride on shawns trail :dead: and i jumped off my bike a couple woodlot rides ago, and landed on my bottom on a log. There was a big knob there, and i bruised my crack :D Of course none of those crashes required medical attention...

Today I took a beating on Bob's. I slipped ou around a corner at the beginning (maybe the same place as Stupendous Man) and flew and landed flat on my front, my stomach hit a pointy rock. So I'm all scraped up on my stomcah and arms, but, I had a full faced and it saved me again. I hit the ground hard with my head, but the helmet was there to rescue me. Then on Lower Bob's, just before the drop and jumps I was going kinda fast to try and catch back up with smedford becasue he didnt know that I had crashed earlier and got way ahead. So when going between two trees on the straightaway my bars clipped the tree to the right and again I went flying into some roots and rocks. That crash mainly got my legs.
It was a good ride except for Bob's.

I think that bobs claims more people then any other trail on galbraith. I remember back in the day when bob's was a lot burlier, and on the lower section i bailed over the bars randomly into a large patch of stinging nettles, and stung my entire face including my tongue and the inside of my mouth.

It sucks when you forgrt your shin guards . The neddls hang over the trial and they can snag your leg.

Yes, Bob's can be heinous. As far as Galbraith is concerned, it is probably the most dangerous trail there, most likely due to the speed (well, and the jumps...). I have fallen off the dual log rides more than once, and messed myself up nicely. I think I still have an internal scar lump from one crash. The other bad one, my full face saved me from certain decapitation. Well, probably not, but I forgot to dismount, and just teetered like a tree off the right, my head gaining speed as it pendulummed sideways until it impacted a tree about 7 feet down. Sore neck, big dent in helmet. And to think I went with just the XC lid today...
Funniest thing though is that I've never hurt myself on the drop or jump no matter how huge I go. Guess there's something to be said for well-built stunts. You rock Bob.

Just ask one of these guys to show you around, i've only done one trail there i didn't like. Texas Chainsaw Massacre i think, it went harsh climb, slow descent, harsh corner, harsh climb, slow descent, harsh corner, harsh climb, slow descent, harsh corner, harsh climb, slow descent, harsh corner, harsh climb, slow descent, harsh corner, harsh climb, slow descent, harsh corner, harsh climb well you get the point.............

 No trail up there by that name, not sure about what trail might fit that description, where was it on the mountain?

I think that it is over near the candy trails. However, i have heard from some xc riders that it sucks, so i don't plan on wasting my time.
Skookum, if you are looking to find the loving, start your search at the tree patch.
Bob's is really not that brutal anymore. It used to be a lot slower and gnarlier. Especially the lower trail. However, Bob went up and rode at whistler, so that era is over (not that it's a bad thing)
