View Full Version : HTs Banned at Northstar!!!
Just heard from a good reliable inside source that HTs won't be allowed at northstar this year. What next? No double butted spokes (something Whistler has been considering)?
Be sure you are are the protest if you care anything about the future of DH.

i wish they'd enact more practical rules, like limiting the use of lycra....

well, if it stops the kids riding the wall-mart bikes into the waterfall, it is a good idea. I am sure some of them got hurt, heck I watched a guy break his leg there (not sure what kind of bike). I've watched countless kids ride up to it (the waterfall) on some wall-mart bike. I don't agree with banning hardtails, but I would agree with banning such bikes that would be "unsafe", that only causes trouble and litigation when they end up with it wrapped around their head.

I'm not all too bright when I'm wide awake, and I'm really tired right now so I'm about as inteligent as a rock at the moment. I'm going to sleep.
