April the 25th, Sunday is the day of Gearhead Bicycles' grand re-opening party! Celebrate Earth Day with the Pacifica Ocean Discovery Center! Live music, interactive tours, exhibits explaining the natural beauty of Linda Mar beach and the recent overhaul of the area, and other Earth Day activities sunrise to sunset.
It's a grand re-opening because the shop moved two doors down to a space roughly twice the size of the old shop.
Bike-based activities include a phatty 5.5' tall takeoff ramp with a pretty steep lip and a seperate landing ramp, which means as big or small of a gap as you can manage. A couple of bmxers will be going off, one dude's promising some backflip action. Sign a waiver and you can hit it up too.
Oh, and we've got a license to sell beer. So come on down, should be fun. :cool:
