Best local solo DH (asheville)

I have fri night and sat the 17th off and am looking to try some DH but I am solo. I want something within say 3hours.

Windrock I guess is out with the shuttle road messed up. What about pushing at Windrock?...any suggestions especially as I will be going solo.

How were you planning on shuttling Windrock by yourself?

In all seriousness you could hop up to ETSU if you're planning on hitting the race. They have a course that is off campus that's supposed to be good. Is there still a course on the Buncombe Co. landfill? Anyone?

Trust me, you'll push up Windrock once and then you'll leave. It will wear you out so much that you won't want to do it again. I have done it...once.

Not a bad little spot for stretching your legs. Check out the trails before the no-seeums hatch though.
