so i want to get a crash replacement for my exr comp that came stock on my '03 P1. the deal is is that the fork has a twist to it and is making some seriously sketchy noises. loud creaks and stuff coming from the crown of the fork. Will marz crash replace it before i experience catastrophic failure of the fork? i would just like to eliminate the possibility of smashing my face on the ground before it happens. any suggestions or experiences would be helpful.

take it back to the bike store you bought it from with the reciept, and have them take care of it. Should be a piece of cake.

If you didn't buy it new, can't get to the bike store, or don't have a reciept... I'd start wearing a full face helmet.

If you can see the twist, I would think that that would put it in the same realm as "needs to be replaced" as snapped off legs. Just call Marzocchi.
Don't wait for Brian to get back. 800-227-5579.
A friend of mine cracked his DJ off at the legs off of a huge drop and Marzocchi was super cool about the crash replacement.

if the fork is messed up you should be able to get a crash replacement, not all mangled forks have to be broken at the crown.
