lets try and keep one open at all times! Northwest Oregon/Southwest WASHINGTON in the hizzy my nizzy!

So as to not get deleted I will say something riding related:

I think DC forks are better than SC forks. And I like it when it does not rain cuz my bike stays cleaner. One last thing riding is fun!

Post Canyon tomorrow seems like the plan! So Gorgeboy you ready......

Nice, we'll see how far this one goes.. Hey gunslingger, I finally kinda half ass cleaned up the Banshee last night when I bled my rear brake... I ended up with a pile of dirt about 4 inches high and thats not even all of it, just the chunks that had collected on my downtube, chainstays, and seattube... Let's hope some of those puddles/mudpits have dried up a bit...

we should set up a Camas ride at least twice a week at night. We could hike up or shuttle and jump till' it gets dark.

frizanko
04-06-2004, 11:14 PM
How far out is that spot Gunsliggner? It sounded like a fun session spot. Especially if its as versatile as you made it sound, being able to pretty much choose from a bunch of lines .
What about Jones Creek? That sounded pretty sick.
:D Here we go again, Theres just so many options opening up right now!!!

zane
04-06-2004, 11:38 PM
Are you guys talking about the brown's camp area? I know that there used to be some north shore stuff up storeyburn road (across the hwy from brown's camp) and I've heard of some riding in jones creek. I used to ride dirt bikes in that area all the time.

frizanko
04-06-2004, 11:48 PM
No, Ive heard of Browns Camp though... Gunslingger knows of a spot that has a long ridge drop. It sounded like it was all wide open and you could pretty much go as big as you want, or take it easy. I think he said there was more than just the drop too, but Im not sure.

What up ...yeah, I saw the PNW board and a portland thread, adn I figured I should get on here...my mates got back from Costa Rica so I'm hoping that Andrew will get out and actualy ride this weekend...I'm down for about anything, the zoo needs to be worked on cause I'm getting bored, adn that ain't good eh...Tillimook would be sweet, I've wheeled around Browns Camp and Jones creek a bunch, I can imagine if you can shuttle it, you can hit some sick lines...

Were planning to go to the MRT not this weekend, but next, it's a sweet ride, fast paced, a few uphills(not big) and alot of fast flow single track...probably camp Friday night and then shuttle up to Clear Lake in the morning...

gunslingger
04-07-2004, 08:58 AM
WHat is that?

Yeah the spot I was talking about is in TIllamook area, you go out towards Browns Camp but then you veer off somewhere. THe actualy spot is a big mining pit. There is also an area up the 30. I will try and get in touch with the guys who know the exact directions.

We shoud work on the zoo. the spot where the doubles are could be made better. a run that short could have like 2 big drops and it would be totally worth it.

frizanko
04-07-2004, 11:58 AM
MRT is the Mackenzie River Trail...
I'd love to go do that, but I know I have to work that Sat. untill early afternoon. when are you guys planning on headin down there DK? I might be able to head down right after work and then camp out to ride it on sunday.
Its what, like 2 1/2 hrs away right?...

Oh, I just saw that you said Friday... couldnt do that. But I still want to hit that trail soon.

zane
04-07-2004, 12:05 PM
there's a rock quarry in the brown's camp area (you turn right (veer?) on the gravel road right before brown's camp campground- huge drops) and I know of a few other spots in that area with some big drops, north shore stuff (if it's still there) and lots of fast single track.

edit: I know my way around there pretty well if anyone's gonna make a trip up there...

I dunno about your schedgule, but I'm not planing anything fro Bunny dfay, not my thing, I'm free, if you are...Hey Gunslinger, you're close too, we should hook up for a ride, maybe get a group going, the more riders I meet the better, my mate Andrew is psyched to ride as he's been off the stinky for 2 weeks...

still fun after work

IS that Ledbetters? or is there another Trail network over there? And a quick question about Beacon????where is it in relation to Beacon rock???I'd assume it's in the same area, I've just never seen a place for a DH race up there, I've ridden the walking trail from the top of the rock :D BAD DAVE...that was pretty technical...

Damn, sorry I'm so late to this thread! I've been being sick and working (go figure).

We've hit some of the Larch WA stuff, some is good, some is not. I recently got ripped here on the Monkey by one of the guys for talkin' too much about them, so I'll keep quiet and respect his request. Sounds like they are getting hassled by the DNR, which owns the property. Anyway, head on up there and look for the normal clues, you'll probably find some stuff. The singletrack is hella tasty, too.

I'm hitting PC in the afternoon on Easter if anyone wants to go ride some logs.

Viva the non-Seattle PNW threads!

I really need a stand cuz I should be able to install a BB at home but UNIVERSAL got it done! That shop is sweet, they get PORTLAND thread props.

Anyhow I can go a bit earlier 3 or 330!

I had to buy a new tire cuz with that new rim my tire was rubbing WAY to much. I have a kinda new michelin 2.8 and a Kenda 2.7 Nevegal if anyone is interested. 10 bucks or any offer would work.

GorgeMAN I would love to come up there, though since I am a wuss and my woman would not be happy if i was gone all day i probably cant! I know what you are thinking, that Gunslinngger is a BAD a-s cat and I would never expect him to let no chick alter his plans! Sorry to disappoint but I am keeping it REAL!

Anyway, it sounds like eveyone's gonna ride this weekend, but I'm down for anything (riding or building) this coming week after 2:00 pm every day (evening session at camas?).

Well, I rode the discovery trail stuff on thursday for a little bit that GFXRACE was talking about... It was kinda fun, some cool log rides, little drops, etc... fun for a short session or if you have to stay around town.

I don't know if GFXRACE wants to openly give out specific directions but if he says it's cool I will.....(GFX- ignore that PM I sent you about directions, I found the place on my own).

I know he gave vague directions, but i usually ask before I tell more about someone else's spot. but, oh well. if your gonna go start at the trailhead off of hazel dell and just ride on the pavement for a little bit. cut through a little trail (in the grass) on your left to see a couple DH runs. Meet up with the pavement again and keep going all while looking left. I think it was the second or third trail that has a cool logride. Anyway there's probably more there than I saw so just look around. I'll spend some time there next week.

Meet up with the pavement again and keep going all while looking left. I think it was the second or third trail that has a cool logride. Anyway there's probably more there than I saw so just look around. I'll spend some time there next week.

anytime! I will probably have to ride arly this weekend if at all though.

We defintiely need some better pics. That gap is not the hugest thing in the world but we coud definitely make it look pretty good.

I went to the Discovery Trail today. I found whatr i assume is most of the stuff but i had to park kinda far. WHere is the lot off Hazel Dell? Anyone who knows that place want to hit it after work this week? Even Camas or the zoo?

Hey Get some,

If you want to post your pictures somewhere that doesn't take your copyrights check out my site. I can set you up with a private gallery if you like. Go to http://www.digitaldaredevil.com and follow the "user" submenu under gallery. Sorry for the spam, I actually have a reason to post in the portland thread. I was down in the Vancouver area this weekend and scouted an area near Lacamas Lake, WA with nice nothshore style bridges and drops (got some pictures on my site).

Toshi that gap at Post took me out. The second time i hit it i tumbled pretty far, came out OK but I am pissed. THe landing is pretty steep though the guys we were with made it look damn easy. I can not wait to get up there again. THe one in Camas is fun and a good prelude to the Post gap.

Pictures did come out good. I just like things to look bigger than they are........

We should all quit work and just ride....i think. all this "i gotta got to, or i gotta move stuff. or my woman said" crap sucks! i am playing the lottery this week!

Yeah, but those guys were pushing damn big bikes. You get credit for throwing down on the HT.

PC was super-sweet yesterday. Incredible weather, trails are buff, and all the logs are dry and super fast! It was no problem on the log approaches, like it was when we were out there a couple of weekends ago when you guys were out here. Y'all would've been proud of me, the increased travel on my bike allowed me to man up to a bunch of drops I'd not done before.

Toshi (and others) - if you want to meet some HR riders and scope out a fun local XC trail, we'll be doing trail maintenance on the Whoopdee Trail this Sunday. I'll post a thread in the NW forum later this week. Mostly cutting back nasty brush, and then doing a couple quick laps. The trail is super fast and a lot of fun (except for the climb out!). After that, I'd like to mosey over and hit PC, as long as we're all sweaty and stinky.

This is all about the discovery trail stuff in Vancouver. It's kinda hard to find at first, but I just rode around until I found the trailhead: it's on Alkali Ave. off of Hazel dell (like 3 or 4 blocks north of main street). There's a bridge with a sign next to it, that's where the trail starts.

I'm probably going to ride there at about 2:30 today. Anyone else wanna show up for a small session? PM me, or just show up- I'll be on a black Kona stinky d.

We've ridden some of the stuff up there. Fun, worth the trip, but dangerous when wet. It should be drying up soon, though.

There is apparently more up there, I just haven't spent too much time searching. Guess the local builders are getting hassled by the DNR, though, so it's supposed to be hush-hush. If you can find it, great. One of the builders ripped me for talking about the trails here on the Monkey, so I'm keeping quiet about specifics.

I don't think we'll be going up there soon, though, other than to ride the singletrack, which, by the way, is some of the best in the area. Larch and Tarbell are excellent XC trails.

Zane, as I was once told by another monkey, youve just got to come out to some of the other rides posted and start meeting people face to face...It's when everyones all sweaty and dirty with big **** eatin grins on their face that the info gets passed along. I wont be able to ride this week untill maybe Friday evening. I know that some of us will be at Camas on Saturday afternoon too, which sucks cause you said your weekend is shot.
Most of the monkeys dont like giving out any info about the best stuff, because the best things in life are usually things we're not supposed to have or be doing... Makes sense to me. However these forums are a great place to start.
BTW the monkey that gave me that advice was the same one that doesnt want info about Larch posted....

I'm still pretty new to ridemonkey so I'm still trying to meet everyone and make as many new friends as possible (you can never have too many friends who ride).

And yeah, I understand that people don't want their spots to get lots of attention but I was just asking what kind of stuff was at the spot.... everyone already knows where it is.....

I dunno, some day we should coordinate a big gathering of ALL PDX/Vancouver area riders, Monkeys or not, so we can all meet, ride together and plan more trails and riding areas. The better connected we are the more powerful we are in keeping areas open to ride. That's what we all want to do, right? You've seen how the skateboarders in the Portland/Metro area have rallied together and are getting parks opened left and right (no bikes allowed, I might add, due to lack of representation from bikers at the planning meetings...). If we coordinate and concentrate all our efforts, we won't have to worry about keeping spots secret- you don't see canadians trying to hide their stuff on the shore.....

Okay, enough preaching for one night.

ANYWAY, I worked it out so I have sunday free (but still not friday or saturday). Anyone riding on sunday? I'm up for anything :D).

Thanks for the park tip, I've ridden beaverton before (I've ridden bmx for a few years...). The parks I'm referring to are all of the Kickass parks within a couple hours of here- reedville, burnside (unless you want to ride at 4am), the new Pier park (being built by dreamland parks = no bikes), clatskanie, and a little farther, newburg, BOTH amazing lincoln city parks, newport and most other parks. I've been formally escorted (eg- kicked out by cops) from most of the parks mentioned above and almost got beaten by angry skaters at burnside. I know I've missed a few parks, but if it's really awesome it's a good bet it's not bike friendly.

The semi-good news is there's a couple local bike-friendly parks, but compared to the other parks they're not that special- these include : St. Helens (boring), Vancouver (eg- swift skatepark), Oregon city (small and tight), sandy (smaller), department of skateboarding (indoor, exspensive, uber-small and kinda boring), b2b in troutdale and the forest grove park (techy street stuff).

The funny thing is that for every park except forest grove bike riders took no part in planning the park. If we, as bike riders, make our concerns heard we just might get what we want (more places to ride things we WANT to ride- not more trails that an 80 year old can ride that the city tells us to ride on).

Jeez, I sound like a politician....

Yeah, we should definitely get together on sunday. Where's everyone else going riding?

I'm sure most people on this forum would do anything to help get more places to ride locally, but I can only speak for myself, so if there's anything I can do to help just let me know.

Yeah, Trail Advocacy starts with a good attitude towards non-riders you find on the trail...alot of places have been destroyed because hikers and others were nearly mangled by someone flying on a bike...and yes, I think this rain is gonna screw my weekend, I dunno about the road gap in the wet...I just dunno...although if everyone's still going, I'll be there in the slop like everyone else, that is just the way of the wheels...

Showers off and on, some heavy, most light. It was getting too dry up there last week, so some moisture is good. Like I said, it makes the logs a bit of a challenge! In any case, it should not be nearly as muddy as when we had the mini-Monkeyfest up there a couple of weeks ago.

I'm not sure what time we'll be riding PC on Sunday, I'm trying to keep it loose. We're doing some trail maintenance and an XC ride earlier on Sunday, so we'll be hitting PC whenever we're done with the earlier activities. I'm guessing mid-afternoon.

Remember, if it's raining in PDX, head east!

Hmmm, this rain isn't stopping. Hopefully we're not SOL for sunday..... Looks like riding on sunday will be determined by which spot is the dryest!

Is it raining as bad at PC as it is here? (bad to the point where things are unridable?) Maybe if saturday is sunny things will dry out a bit at camas, too.

Oh- Did anyone else get a massive hailstorm last night? In battle ground the hailstones were the size of marbles, no joke. The whole street had over an inch of hail on it. Crazy stuff, this washington weather.

I don't think it's raining as hard out here as it is over PDX. We live about two miles east of PC, so we get all the rain it does. It's mostly been showers with some heavier periods of rain.

Everything should be rideable, but the logs will be a little tricky. Not as much room for error. There are a couple of approaches on GP and Toilet Bowl that will be tough, but if you've got skilz, it'll show!

Hey Gunslingger, remember that log on GP, right before the rainbow? The one where I finally gave up and started on the log? Got it dialed now. All it takes is a little hop of the rear tire, and you're on. I nailed it several times in a row.

So frank, what's the call, I've got Andrew pretty much dialed in, he's loving the new heavier spring so he's amped to go out, it sounds like PC on Sunday might be where it's at, I could just bring the trail;er and pick you up, I've got room for 4 plus me and more bikes than that...hey, I just realized you're in Seattle I think...well, let me know, I'm itching to see PC, and Chris talking all about it is making me even more antsy...e-mail/call/pm whatever me, and we'll get our plan squared away...

have fun at PC, i asked my woman about going and it did not put a smile on her face. I guess leaving a pregnant woman to do the last of the moving while i ride my bike is probably not a good idea! To be honest she REALLY found it to not be funny, I guess women just see things differently.

All I can say is next weekend I am IN it TO WIN IT!

Dude, you got your priorities all wrong. How can you ever expect to clear that road gap if you've got a woman at home dragging you down? Who wears the pants in your family? Time to assert your manhood and lay down the law! You want to go riding on Sunday, and, dammit, you're going to go riding! Tell her, too, that the house better be unpacked when you get home.

Glad I could help! Don't worry, there are tons of single women who ride here in Hood River - yeah, right!!

I do feel a bit guilty, and therefore obligated to help. You can live in the small shed I have in the backyard. I've got a 5-gallon bucket you can use as a toilet. At least you'll be close to the trailhead.

yeah, I can bet he's comming, hey, I'm looking at a new fork since I'm probably gonna sell my crappy Z1wedge off on my old HT...so which one would you choose? 2004 Z1 Dropoff II or 2004 DJ3...those are my options, no 20mm for me BOO_HOO, but thesea re infinately better forks than my current set-up, I can get what I consider to be as good a deal as any at universal, (315 for the Z1, 269 for the DJ and I'd need the 130mmtravel kit) any suggestions?

Take that to the NSMB boards and see what they say.. There are always people bitchin about their Dirt Jumpers on there... The Z1 sounds like a decent choice.

gunslingger
04-16-2004, 06:28 PM
I had one on my last bike. The fork is solid and you can pump up the air in it and it will be really stiff. It is not good for multiple bumps though, kinda like a one hitter! I liked it though for everything beside riding fast down rocky trails.

Chris I happen to be livin in manshions and benz's, given ends to my friends, and it feels stupendous......other times I am actualy Gucci down to the socks, though i sometimes feel like ni--as are trying to stick me for my paper.......andyhow i hope you get the idea

by the way as far as political correctness was it wrong for me to quote that phrase?

Damnit I am so up in the air...Yeah Frank I took it to NSMB, it's on the Gear board right now...my question is do I need the steel Stantions or will the Z1 alloy ones be strong enough...I realize nobody but me can truly answer that, but man I need some help...

OK- the Z1 will probably have better dampning I'm guessing, and IMO, the all black is just bonus pimp points

but- the DJ has steel Stantions/sliders and will most likely be tougher but sacrifice high speed sensetivity...

I'm thinking that if my wedge has survived the first 6months of me getting used to the 4x4 that the Z1 DOII will be pretty good to go, and certianly burlier than the wedge...any thoughts guys...

dammit, I just don't know what to do with myself...I don't know what to do with my self DUH NUH!!! (sorry thought I'd get in on the music thing with ya Jason)

Oh, and speaking of the weather- I was tweaking the susp. on my bike today and opened the garage to test it out, and as soon as the door opened it started pissing down rain. Dry streets before, soaking wet everywhere 10 seconds later. Lame-o.

I'm not sure, I've not actually built anything up there. You'll want to get in touch with the guys at the Gorge Freeride Assc (GFRA (http://www.gfra.org/index.shtml)), they do a lot of the building in PC.

I do know that shingles do not have a long lifespan when ridden heavily (they tend to tear up), so that may be the reason. I also know that they provide a look thay may not necessarily be in harmony with the surrounding forest.

Of course, the real solution is skill, right? Wet logs are a nice challenge, plus they do dry out pretty quickly in the spring.

Hmm, not exactly sure to where you are referring. I think you might be talking about Blue Car, which the GFRA guys are doing. Otherwise, that could be 8-Track, which is being built by someone else.

Hey Y'all,

I just want to make a plug here, so bear with me (don't worry, no spam).

Hood River County derives a substantial amount of revenue from it's forestlands (to the tune of around 30%), and is therefore protective about them. Mostly, they are concerned about fires, damage to timber, and environmental degradation. They believe recreation is appropriate, and have been supportive of mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, and motorized used.

However, they have decided they need to be more proactive about managing their forests in the face of increasing recreational use, so they have created a citizens' committee, comprised of recreational enthusiasts. This committee, which was just recently formed, will help the County ensure that their timber investment is protected, but that recreation is promoted.

I am one of two bikers on the committee, and I look forward to serving the community. One of the selling points for the County to let people use their land is the economic benefit. I want to be able to personally state that I know riders who come from out of town and spend their $ at local shops and stores, so when you're out visiting, I would encourage all of you to consider:

- filling up for gas
- getting lunch
- swinging by the local bike shops and getting food bars, tubes, gloves, other stuff

This last one is particularly important. The local shops, and the guys and gals who work in them, have done a lot for the PC area, both on the ground and politically. Please support them, and let them know you've come to ride in PC. This is very important.

Knowing that MTBRs are patronizing local shops will allow me to lobby the County for more recreational opportunities for riders. Our $ speak loudly, especially in a community that is so dependent on tourism.

Thanks!! Also, I want to make sure I represent your interests at the County, so please never hesitate to talk to me about PC or other County riding areas.

There are two bike shops in HR that traffic in the types of goods that would interest riders who frequent PC. Both are in downtown HR, on the main drag (Oak Street). To make matters confusing, they are both moving at the end of this month. To make matters real confusing, one is moving into the space being vacated by the other. Thanks, guys, that's what we like to hear!

It's been raining a fair bit out here, but it's supposed to start drying up tomorrow. I'll be out of town on Friday and Saturday and won't be able to give you an update, but I'm thinking Sunday should be good.

I'm a bit out of the loop on this one, but can I get some directions to PC? Like where to park, where the trailhead(s) are, etc. I don't want to get uber-lost if I head out there this weekend.

Does PC on sunday work for anyone else?

edit: chris- I'll buy some tacos AND get gas in hood river, too

Here's some directions I posted in a previous thread:

Directions to the PC TH:
- I-84 eastbound;
- Take exit #62 (the first Hood River exit);
- Go right at the top of the exit;
- Immediately take your first right onto Country Club Road;
- Head up the hill and away from town;
- Turn right onto Post Canyon Drive;
- Wind down into the woods and park where the gravel road starts. Please remember to drive slowly, keep the tunes in check, and otherwise respect the residents along PC Drive.

Have fun! I'm outta' town tomorrow and Saturday, but I'll check this thread on Sat. night to see if I can hook up w/ y'all. Thanks for the support, Zane!

The latest weather report is encouraging. Showers tomorrow, but sunny on Saturday and Sunday. Should be fun in PC!

Not really. Most of the monkeys on here around my age probably make a lot more than me. What it did do was allow me to get a govt job out in The Dalles, which means I can live in Hood River. Perhaps it indirectly allows me to increase my riding skills, but with all that money that went to tuition, I could have spent a hell of a lot of time at Whistler and on new bikes!

Sometimes I feel like a freakin' hippie: I take an easy, low-wage job (relative to the profession) so I can live in paradise and spend more time riding. Is that wrong?

That's definitelt not wrong, riding is your priority and other aspects of your life are based around it. I've gotton myself into trouble lately due to the high priority I place on riding by NOT doing other things I should be doing (like studying for class). But oh well, at least I got to ride.

Riding on Sunday-

Toshi- you still on for PC on sunday? Also, do you know your way around there or should I so some investigation on trails and such? I also have a couple friends who might come with me, so things should be fun.

Chris you kinda are! I am from the NE (CT) so all I care about is money and someone who gives up money for riding is a hippie....

JUst kidding, what you are is smart and happy. I use to live in Phoenix by myself and I had a job that my hours were totally up to me, I made a decent wage and had all the free time in the world. At times i felt like i was wasting my education or not really going after the whole corp scene, and that I should work harder or something like that.

Well now that I have a job that requires lots of thought, creativity and TIME-i do like it but doing something that gives you freedom to do what you want (ie riding, surfing, running) is the route to go.

I am rambling and being vague but i hope you get the point i am trying to make.

what is the local PDX schedule this weekend? also what time you going to PC?

yeah, i'm definitely up for pc on sunday. i've been up there 3? times now, so i kind of know my way around :D . bring your friends, and bring a car, then we can shuttle if i bring my pathfinder as well. :thumb: (as we found out last weekend, 2 bikes on the rack + 2 in the rear + 4 people inside works, if just barely)

as for time, i suggest meeting at 10:30am at the ta truck stop off exit 17 on i-84. i'll be in the purple pathfinder.

anyone up for riding _something_ closer than spokane on saturday?

First and foremost, you have to find something you love to do as a creeer, if it allows you to ride more, good on ya...Money is not the be all and end all of life eh...

Me personaly, I'm on line to be a paid FIrefighter in about a year...sure it's alot of school and hard work and I don't get to ride as much as I'd like, but all in all, I made my descision and I haven't even thought of looking back...everything in life is about sacrafices, me personaly, I CANNOT operate at a desk job, I need to be out working, and being active, that's part of the reason I love riding my bike so much, I crave activity... point I'm alluding to, do what makes you happy...

oh yeah, and Jason, Ken sorry, I mixed you guy's up in the pics and in my head, I swear it'll only happen 5 maybe 100 more times :D

cheers

Dave

Jones creek is motorcycle trails all downhill lots of fun. I am more up to riding leadbetter because it is closer to me and we would get more runs in but if we have enough people that want to go that can shuttle then I am game, proably only be able to ge two or three runs in if we start at 3 or 4 ish.

Hey, just wondering if I can get some info on the Zoo trails. Where are they in relation to the MAX stop by the zoo? I haven't been on that side of the city for a long time, so I can't picture the area. Sounds fun if I can ride the train, bike, ride the train, bike...

I'm in Troutdale, kinda close to a station, it'd be a nice to know where to go. Also, anyone know of any fun riding in the Troutdale area?

PC was awesome, I also realized how out-of-shape I was pushing my bike back up some of those hills. I'm a little sore and my back wheel is now bent but it was fun as hell. I'll definitely go back to ride.
It's pretty cool that we met up with that Chris guy and his wife to shuttle, that helped out a lot.

What's up Toshi, Zane and whomever else was at Post Canyon yesterday. Good ridin' with you all. I'm the dude on the white Bullit with the broken derailleur :( Those trails were totally sick! lots to work on this season. BTW, did anyone get Seth's number? He said he was going to leave it on my truck but I didn't see it. Anyway, I'm in SE portland and hopefully will be riding a few days a week so I'll keep tabs on this thread. I'd love to find some local spot to practice jumping too... I've got a little something going in my back yard so I'll post some pics when I finish.

cheers,
Ben

Ben, you should check out the jumps out at 172nd and Powell.. Turn South onto 172nd and pull in next to the recycling center. You'll see a gate with a lil roll in on the right that leads into a big open feild... Ride in and look to your right. You'll find what your lookin for.

YES! Finally, people can ride during the week!

Has the stuff at camas been plowed yet? If not, I'd like to check that place out one day this week..... Sound good to anyone else?

Also, there's some cool stuff that's been recently built at discovery- some more drops & jumps, a cool spiral ladder, and a narrow teeter. That place is fun for a short session (short because you get tired of pushing your bike back up the hill just to hit something).

Okay, I'm busy today (and my bike needs some TLC) but any other day this week would be good.
