Here's some fun Northwest XC, but only if you pedal up and earn it. If you cheat and get a lift up, then it's DH.:p

I just posted a bunch of pics on Derek Pearsons web site, there's tons of great pics here...
http://derekpearson.com/mb/viewtopic.php?t=223
but here's a typical technical woodsy section of a mountain trail around here. But terrain and trails vary quite a bit around here....

Is that picture even horizontally, or has it been turned? Just wondering because that is some SERIOUS off camber coolness!

Will be out your way in a couple weeks for White Rim in a day. Want to loan me your broken down NRS again? :D I promise to bring it back in 4 pieces or less. ;)
Will be on a tight sched, but will drop down by the river (good name for a song don't you think?) and say hi.

Hell. Why don't you just borrow you're bro's borrowed road bike? You don't need my big DH rig for White Rim. :)

Yeah. You *think* you could forget it. But you won't be able to. Not even after it's gone.

I think its turned a little but it is STEEP out there. Some serious consequences if you fall off the trail in lots of spots.

Here's a few shots of Dakota Ridge, in Golden CO.
BS, slcpunk21 and Lilstinky, this trail runs along the ridge that was right across the road from the ride we did when you were here. When the weather is nice, combining it with the trail we did makes for a great loop.

....James River State Park. Just off route 60 in an area called 'Bent Creek'. It's about 20 miles north of Appomattox near the intersection of routes 26 & 60. Fairly new (3 years) State Park, but growing all the time.:p
