So I went to the local shop..
Da man was out, so I had to deal with Red.
I needed some Flats for the Woman's bike.
(She has a JACKED knee, so Clipless are out)
But when I got home, I realized I had darn BMX pedals.
SO...
What size are MTB pedals?

Mtb pedals and BMX pedals for 3 piece cranks are 9/16".
Pedals for 1 piece cranks 1/2".

yup, its b/c the one piece cranks are skinnier so therefore they need a slightly smaller axle for some reason...and 3 pc are bigger(all mountain cranks that i have ever seen are 3 piece) just a little info...if anyone cares:(
