Rush has that commercial where he berates Liberals for hating America, and then I saw this article. (http://www.conservativemonitor.com/opinion03/52.shtml)
here is a quick excerpt;
The garden variety leftist attacks our country with every breath, oblivious to the fact that their ability to speak out, to acquire their toys, to travel and protest and whine, are provided by the very system they despise.
Are these types of feeling indicative of the right wing community, or just the ramblings of the ultra-conservative minority?

There is a major rift between the left and the right in this country, despite the fact that most people lie mainly in the middle. The two party system has caused a ferocious power struggle that has driven a wall between peoples beleifs.

I don't think it is really the way Rush tells N8 to call it. I have many conservative friends and we have much more in common than we disagree on.
Here is a list of stuff we agree on.
1. Fiscal Resposibility.
2. Smaller government.
3. Guns.
4. School vouchers.
The country is divided, according to the media, but we all are likely much closer to understanding than we are given credit for.
I even see the merits of some of the things Burly and Stinkle and the rest of the We Love Bush fan club have to say. We can learn nothing without really taking to heart the idea that those who have passionate feeling that are contrary to ours may be on to something. In the case of N8 it is safe to just ignore.:devil:
