Yo, gimme more details on the Cake, please. I'm not in the least bit interested in one, but I'd like to know about GF's (late) foray into the trailbike market.

I am sure that their website does a much better job of explaing it than me, but it is a light weight, 5" travel trail bike. Not designed to be a hucker.

Fisher did have the Sugar+ for the past 2 or 3 years. That had 4.1" of travel.
I've got a Cake 1DLX and my roommate just got a Cake 1 frame. The SPV really does a lot for it; climbs like a goat. The thing is LIGHT too.
What applications do you use your bikes for? As long as your not hardcore XC racer guy, the Cake IMO is an outstanding choice for an all around bike. Sell the Sugar if you're not racing, or just beat the piss out of it until it breaks and warranty upgrade for a Cake, like my roommate did:D
