Marin Bikes? Need new ride

Anyone ride them? I was just looking at a 2001 Alpine Trail FS. Looks decent, Z.5 coill fork, deore drivetrain, Ovation disk ready hubs. On sale for $1100 I think or was it $1000.

I also saw the 2002 Sugar 3+. Deore LX, Manitou black, adjustable rear travel, too much Bontrager, $1500.

I will ride some when I have some cash ready. I have also been lookin at Kona Caldera and Fisher Big Sur.

Anyone know about Ovation Hubs?

How about the new Manitou Black?

the reviews I saw on the Manitou Black were pretty good........

Never rode one, but based on what people have said that had 'em, they like 'em..............
