Oh and I just got finished help to test a 4th hyd pump mod on the sierra so you can look fwd to that. I have only been riding once, but plan to go again this weekend. Ill be able to go a lot more when my jeep gets here. Well I cant wait for you guys to get to pax so hurry the F@#$% up.

Yeah I rode a little single track. Well at least thats what the guys at the MTB club I joined call it. I say its more XC becouse there is too much gosh darn pedaling. Picnic tables are like the biggest things I can do since my Jeep isnt here yet so I cant drive to the big stuff. Im gettin the balls man.

The 4th pump is for mission equipment. such as bat wings and all the crap that the romeo has in it they want to put in the Sierra. It goes directly over top the #1 d/s. Its really not a pain for AM's but its in the wat of all the AD's stuff and it adds like two more line to the oil cooler as well.

I say embrace the crash, enjoy the beauty of not having the skills(instinct) to unclip and revell in the abuse of being one with your bike. that's what it all comes down to anyway, being one with your bike and its not YOUR bike until it has drawn blood.

good selection on a bike though, it will take you a long way dont get rid of it just buy another, bigger, smaller, hardtail, whatever.

I went out and got me some clip ins this morning.

The reason I was asking though is becouse well I guess I need your help with a decision. I sold my crackandfail. And was thinking of getting a better lighter bike to ride. But another guy offered me a really great deal on a scream. So hears the deal tell me what I should do.

The scream is a 2003 w/ a 2004 shiver for $2500
or
The other bike is a 2003 Specialized EPIC FSR for $2500

Should I get the Epic becouse it lighter and would be easier to ride around here or should I get the scream and suck it up and ride the Enduro as my XC bike?

I know that both are great deals. SO help me please.

Hey Scott, just got done with Phase/364-day...wow! Go to SIXSIXONE's web page. They have some really cool armor that I want! They have it in serveral colors...don't get the gun metal grey...that's mine! Haven't been riding except to the Kintai Bridge so far. When we get back here we plan to go. I'm telling you the XP-Free is reasonable to the V-10. It's more stout than my AC-1! I forgot to tell you I dropped about a 7-8 footer at the Kintai, but it kind of sucked since it was onto a flat...ouch! Later!

I am going to start MTB racing in the spring. Going to hit up some downhill races here and there ( if I can get some good practice in), but most of the races that are close are endurance type. Other than just getting out and riding the trails which I already do 3 to 4 days a week and then weekends also, What else can I do to train for these races? :drool: :drool: :drool: :help: :help: :help: :help:

I suggest you get a cyclo-trainer. Find a slightly uncomfortable level on it and ride it for an hour one day and then bump up a gear and then so on as you get more stamina and strength. Don't suggest trainning on it for more than 2 hours. You're already riding alot so it would kill your weekly rides if you did too much on the trainer. Plus it hurts reaction time. Running a few times a week would help the best. Also with winter coming, the bikes in the gym are good substitutes. I hope this helps. See you in a few weeks!

So guys I went with a friend of mine from here and we did our first DH and drop trails. It kicked A!@. I made 6 runs. Dont have any picks becouse I Biffed it good and broke the camera. But my buddy Sean pulled the muscles in his arm, and got a big cut in his hip but thats about it. Nice stuff though . Rob when you get here we will have to try and go up there.

I got and extra bike. Its my Enduro. It could handle some to most of the trail. We went to this place called the FREDERICK WATERSHED. Its in Gambrill State Park in MD. The trail is rocky lots of log crossing and some jumps. There is also a drop trail near by. They showed it to me butwe didnt get to ride it. Hey Scott, I went to the VPC here in Guam and they told me that my car was already in Oakland and that it would be in Baltimore by the 23NOV. So I told James and I wanted him to tell you that it would be there this week. However, when I called Baltimore about it they told me that it was due in Oakland by 23NOV not Baltimore. So once it gets to Oakland (on the 23rd) it usually takes 7-10 days to get to Baltimore. So plan sometime around the 30th-3rd. Sorry for the mix up. Hey it's Guam!!

Full carbon road bike... Huh! All I was sayin is that a full carbon mtb NEVER left me with the feeling of confidence that you would get from steel or aluminimumumumumun. It just flexed alot... I mean alot.

Hey, my eclipse was blowing white smoke and so I fixed the head gasket and changed the bad and all of the spark plugs. I also flushed the radiator and now it overheats on me...??? What the hell is wrong? I then changed the thermostat but still overheats...help!!! :stupid: All the belts are good and both lines in/out get warm and there are no cool sections on the radiator.

When you drained the fluid, did you put new fluid in?? Nah, just kidding. How's the oil, since you just changed the head gasket. It's not a hard system there's a waterpump, thermostat, and the radiator.

How about this one... did you use the right type of antifreeze? If you dont put in the stuff that is compatable with aluminum it will gum up the works. Remember the Master chief and Chief fulled my car with water, my three month old car, and we had to replace the radiator. they said it looked like a snow globe drained out into the bucket.

Hey, my eclipse was blowing white smoke and so I fixed the head gasket and changed the bad and all of the spark plugs. I also flushed the radiator and now it overheats on me...??? What the hell is wrong? I then changed the thermostat but still overheats...help!!! :stupid: All the belts are good and both lines in/out get warm and there are no cool sections on the radiator.

After rereading your post I found one flaw with what you did. You didn't buy a Subaru WRX.

When you drained the fluid, did you put new fluid in?? Nah, just kidding. How's the oil, since you just changed the head gasket. It's not a hard system there's a waterpump, thermostat, and the radiator.
The oil is good, I changed the thermostat, and the waterpump is still good. I guess I'll have to drain it again to check the antifreeze and the radiator.

I'm getting a Santa Cruz Bullit butt dwelling monkey!(it's me Rob) I know there is nothing for me to purposely have a V-10 for. Unless I was in one of the mtb videos.

Hopefully when I get back it'll be dry enough to ride...which I'll have to borrow the BIG HIT for. You can just attach the skiis to the tires.
