Kelly is more expensive but if i was you, i would get the kelly.
If youre short on money Torelli supercross $450 is good choice made in italy columbus zonal (alu.) tubing. Which i think is better than taiwanese knock off. Not saying taiwanese is bad but why pay 600 something when you can get beutiful italian made frame for only $450.

I have sold and ridden many Kelly's. I have been very impressed with all the frames I have seen from them. The welds scream quality. Plus they are a really nice company to deal with.
Can't give you an opinion on a Gunnar, as I have never seen one.

I like the geometry on the Gunnar and the tubset on the Kelly.
Both are nice bikes for sure. The Gunnar has IF geometry and was designed by my old coach. THe kelly is neat too.
SInce you are already down south you could get the Kelly overnight from Hawley, wheras the Gunnar would have to come all the way from stinky WI.
I dunno. Have you ridden either bike?
