Yeah - that is some crazy design! That bike has been bouncing around the trials forums for a while now. No one seems that excited about it. I wonder if the disc brake works any better with a 20" (or so) rotor? Usually, disc brakes don't hold well enough for trials.

It's usually the disc mount, which isn't designed for stress in the rearward direction, that cracks under trials use. I'd imagine the rim-disc setup here is purpose built for trials...otherwise, why would they bother??
F-U-G-L-Y, tho...trials is pretty minimalist as a discipline; why would you make a monstronsity like that??
