Can't find anything. Well, Tioga Comp3 2.125, but that's about it. Would like more of a dual-purpose tread, not so knobby. Cruiser tires are too skinny, and 24" mtb tires are too big. I wish the Arrow Launch (http://arrowracing.com/tires/the_launch.html) mtb tires were available in a 2.1-2.2" - made only in 2.35 right now. Has anyone found the magical tires I'm looking for? This is for a dirt/street/park cruiser, not a race bike. My wrists need some cush, and 1.85-1.9" won't cut it. Thanks.

I've been looking for the same sort of tire. If you find one be sure to post it up here.

kenda make a 24x2.3 k-rad. Its a BMX checkerboard style tread. Seems ideal to me.

2.3 probably won't fit. My bike is running 1.85's and there isn't a whole lot more room. I don't think I could run anything bigger than maybe 2.1

Got this link in a reply to my question over on mtbr:
Go to the very last tire shown on this page:

Similar to a 2.3 Krad, but in 2.125 size. My LBS deals with Lexco, check if yours does too.

Do you guys have any recommendations on online retailers that carry cruiser parts? I need a 24" rear wheel and some 3-piece cranks. Any suggestions? I am a convert from DH, so I have a lot to learn about bmx cruisers. Thanks. -mm

Well for cranks anything will work. Some common online stores are: (in no particular order)
www.albes.com
www.danscomp.com
www.trendbmx.com
www.flatlandfuel.com
As far as finding a rear wheel goes, good luck if it isn't a race wheel. If it's a race type wheel there should be places that carry them.
