Old Dell laptop help [Archive]

I just purchased two 166mmx Dell Latitude LMs. I am trying to wipe the drives sothat I can put a different OS on them. Unfortunetly the units do not boot from the CD-Rom. You have to have a special cable to connect the floppy to the LPT port and have the CD-Rom in the unit it self. I need to find out what cable the part number on that cable is. I have a newer version of that cable for a newer laptop but it does not work. Any help would be appreciated.

I just ordered that. Its just the picture is just a standard paraelle cable. Lets hope it works.
