Saw this, i want to get into trials and this looks like a decent bike for the price. I'm not going to try and be the best at trials, I just want to get one to fool around on. So in your guys's opinion, whats the good word?

Thanks for the help

that bike doesn't look so bad, but look at the rest of their bikes. would YOU buy that carbon fiber mountain bike? yikes. You'd be better off getting something used off this site. My friend is selling an Echo stock bike in very good shape if you're interested, though it's going to be a bit more expensive than that thing...

I actually picked up that exact model/brand mod last year.

I got it mainly to practice trackstands/hops in the garage.
For that, it's not toooo bad, but I wouldn't do a whole lot on it as is.

The brakes it comes with aren't near strong enuf for trials, but that's not suprising.
It is a front-freewheel crank bike, and the chainline isn't perfect, so I lost alot of bearings really quick.

Other than that, it is fine for 'garage trials' in the winter. I wouldn't be hooking up and coming off anything too large on it without some upgrading.

My advice? find a used $300 monty.
