I have a hussefelt crankset that came on my 2001 Specailized P3 and I put it on my 2003 bullit and I was told (my mech.) that the BB is a tad too short. The bolts on the crank arms I was told is not threading all the way into the BB and as a result my crank arm becomes loose. I was wondering if I could use slightly longer bolts instead of getting a longer BB.

No, you can't cheat. I tried and stripped all the splines out of my crank arm - fortunately it happened in a section where it didn't matter and I could bolt the arm back on tight enough to make it home.

Don't do it - sell the old BB in the Buy and Sell forum, buy a new one. Trust me, it ain't worth your teeth when you take a header 'cause your crankarm came loose.

I e-mailed Truvativ and they said the same thing get a new BB cause they only make one size bolt. Thanks for the reply.
