Excel question

How do I escape characters in Excel? I am trying to enter a value that starts with @ - and it tells me "invalid function"

Try an old school trick and enter a ' first. Or right click on the cell, choose Format Cells, Number, Text.

Same thing when you want to enter a string of numbers begining with a 0, (example: 0007850, excel will default to 7850)
