I have a 20mm front Formula hub laced up to a f219 that I am running on a DJ1 from 2002. The question is: How can I convert the 20mm hub to a regular QR? At some point I'll dump the fork, or at least think about it and I don't want to mess with a wheelset that I am happy with.
Any suggestions on a cheap conversion method?
Hm. A cheap way of doing it? Buy a cheap QR hub and lace it to your rim.
There are a couple of convertible 20mm/QR hubs out there, but Formula isn't one of them as far as I know. The problem is that a 20mm hub is 10mm wider than a QR hub, so even if you put some little plugs in there that would fit a skewer, the hub would still be too wide for a QR fork.

The excess width should not make a difference as the hub has removable side cups.
So no one makes shorter cups and a 20mm axle with a 10mm hole for a standard QR with a standard width? It does not seem that advanced...
This is like the 20mm rigid fork that will never get built...
