Recommendations: Carbon Road Fork for a Big Guy

I am in the market for a carbon fork for my road bike. I'm 6'2" and 210 lbs. and ride a 61cm frame. Any other big guys out there have particularly good or bad luck with any specific forks? My bike has a 1" headset and I will be going threadless.:)

Since it is 1", I would go with a fork that has an aluminum crown/steerer and carbon blades. The 1 cheap all-carbo Easton I installed on a 1" bike was the flexiest thing I ever did see.

The Kestrel EMS Pro is a great fork, and can handle bigger guys. It also keeps getting cheaper and cheaper, which is nice.

I've heard good things about theReynolds Ouzo Pro, but don't have any experience on one.

well, i probably wouldn't get the ouzo pro, for a big guy like yourself, i'd probably rock teh ouzo comp in a 1" threadless. reynolds makes amazing forks. You'll have no problem at all with a carbon fork, just as long as you don't gouge or scratch it. The ouzo comp has an alloy steerer tube, is less money, and in a 1" format, I personally think that carbon steerers are a scary proposition, other engineers I know agree with me on this one. An alloy steerer carbon for for a 1" application should do the trick...
