I've been running FSA ISIS BBs (the ultimax xtreme pro, and the platinum pro) on both my downhill race bike and my freeride hardtail, and have had no problems with either. A fellow on this board has been using the Ti version on his downhill bike, which voids his warranty, but he also has had no problems.
I would definitely recommend them, though be sure to get the newer "platinum pro" version over the "ultimax xtreme."
That being said, ALL of the newer ISIS BB's are better than the first generation ones, as companies are starting to sort out the bearing issues they initially had.
