i might be aqcuiring a first-gen Jr. T, and i was wondering if it is at all possible to convert this bad boy to a singlecrown? i think it's like 110 mm travel, so it's pretty small...

yeah, sorta - if you get the stanchions from a Z1 or other 4" fork. Everything else will just transfer over, except that you leave out the long preload spacers, obviously.

You probably also wanna get a SC crown to go with those stanchions, the DC crown isn't the best b/c it doesn't have a little lip at the top to keep the stanchions from slipping thru.

Your talking about th Jr. T where the stantions unthread? If so, a friend of mine did it and all seemed to work fine.

Why go through the trouble and expense of buying new parts (if you'd need them) when you could get a new-generation fork like a DJ that'd perform better?

Plus, I'm 90% sure that it was only the Mr. T that could be converted to singlecrown anyhow...unless, like Sub6 said, you want to buy new stanchions and a new crown, then stuff outdated innards into them.
