good ol' JEAN CHRETIEN did put a kevlar helmet on backwards though.... no army for him. would you guess that his government has continually cut money from our defence budget?
at least bush TRIED to serve his country.

ya know, i think sh!t like that needs to come out BEFORE an election. Granted, he'll be running again soon.
I think the point of this (and Clinton) is that focusing on a military career is no longer valid for PotUS. As fvcked up as it may sound -- at the time anyway -- Ross Perot was perfect. PotUS needs to know less about military and more about business and diplomacy. Granted, Perot turned out a bit loony, but that's why the wacky Steve Forbes did as well as he did.
