RS Bar or Deluxe(air vs. oil)?

Does anyone have any experience with the RS Bar shock? I noticed 2 small cracks in my frame today, so I called the manufacturer and they offered me 2 options. I can get a complete new bike with a RS Deluxe rear shock, or I can get a new frame with RS Bar shock in the rear and build it with my parts. Any advantages to a rear air shock over a coil? I'm 6'2" and 240# and like to rip on the downhills, but don't do drops over 2'. Almost all of my riding is XC, fire roads and ST.

Go with the Bar, the Deluxe will probably be too soft for you and save a little weight aswell. The damping on both shocks is identical, just the air gives you more adjustment.
