Best time of year for Moab?

I'm planning a trip to Moab while I still live in the west and was just wondering what the best time of year would be in terms of weather and crowds/tourists (like me:) ).

Well its definately NOT summer. Its SO freakin hot there during the summer that riding is toruture. Spring and Fall are best. Winter can be OK if you arent camping. I have some friends going there for the next 4 days, I'll give a report.

Hah! I'm from southern Arizona. Those guys in Utah don't know anything about Summer heat! Cold on the other hand...::eek:
