what's the average "lightweight" bmx bike setup? No, not racing specific lightweight....just general lightweight bmx bike.. I plan on building a BMX bike sometime down the road...

thanks

I dunno what they generally run, but...

My cruiser that I use for street/jumping/whateverifeellike is pretty strong built with 48's and 1 and 1/2 pegs weighs about 35lbs.

around 30 is good. most street and dirt bikes run upwards of 35. a full on race bike can be around 25. a nice chromoly race/dirt frame will be complete around 30.

My back trail x4 is about 33lbs without pegs it has 48's but tubular cranks and is is said to be light by other riders standards.

I have no idea what my Kink weighs, but it feels light in the air so I guess that's what matters :p I think it's around 30 lbs.

A yardie is short for Yard glass which is filled with beer and drunk to celebrate you 21st usually about 2.5 litres take about 3minutes to drink But I have seen one done in a minute. Mainly a english and colonies tradition sorry.
