UST tires which ones?

I have a crap load of tires. I have like 4 different sets for different places I ride. Last year I got a set of Paniracer FireXC pros. And ended up loving them. I don’t use any of my other tires now. I also just got the UST version for my new bike. IF they are any thing like the ones on my hard tail I know I will love them.

i think the hutchinson scorpions fit what you're looking for. I know you pretty much despise hutchinson, and they wear out quick, but i hear they work great and they will be my next pair of tires.

Yeah I use the Scorpions too. They don't last long but they work great. :thumb:

I like the Mosquitos, work great in the mud and most other situations too. The scorpions are a little better in the mud but I find the Mosquitos are the best all around tire. Instead of a UST tire try running some latex and the airlight tire, you will save close to a pound, and $$ in the long run.

I just say i despise them but thats just to see if people will recommond any other tires but everyone says over and over that hutchinson is the way to go. So i'm going along with that to.

I was thinking of pythons for later in the summer but i've heard they have very bad steering. does anyone use them?

The pythons are great because they have a low rolling resistance. I run one in the back when the trails are hard and dry. I keep a mosquito up front for cornering and braking duties. I don't trust pythons for the front.

I've seen people use a python in the rear with a michelin fronts s in the front how would that work well?
