I've installed a BETD long travel link on my Y2K FSR Rockhopper and I need a stiffer spring to use the 5" travel setting.
What I need to know is:When measuring the stroke of the shock is it measured from the body to the spring collar or from the body to the bottom out bumper?
The shock is a Fox Vanilla (OEM model,no rebound etc) measuring 6.5" eye to eye. There's no writing on the current spring BTW.

Cheers.

Per Fox's site, the Rockhopper FSR came stock witha 6.5" X 1.5" shock. You need a spring for that stroke or slightly more.

Thanks.
1.5" is what I got but I wanted to make sure before I ordered a new spring.
