My RaceFace cranks are creaking like mad... What do I do? I tried tightening the cups and they are still bad.

grease the bb spindle possibly?

yes I would remove the bb and inspect it completely. clean it, make sure the bearings are in good working order, (no play or grinding and work smooth) then grease everything up, threads and all and then reinstall it. do the same if you have to get a new one.

Grease the spindle only it its slpined. Remove the bb, grease the bb threads on the frame and re install.

try a little teflon on the cups
