Is there a cheaper alternative to buying through Progessive's website? Thanks!

if you need on that's the same size as the one for bullits, go here www.phattire.com
or you can go here for other sizes, but it's way more expensive www.tftunedshox.com
You'll probably be better off getting direct from progressive

Hmm...well, I don't know what the EE length/stroke is for the Bullit, but mine is 7.5 w/ a 2" stroke. Are the internals of each 5th different, or is the valving the same across the board?
I suspect that the valving is probably different for each linkage type.
Help!

I'm not too sure about valving differences. The bullit's stroke is 2.5", so you couldn't get the phat tire one.

What frame are you putting it on? For now, your best bet is getting it directly through Progressive, until Manitou comes out with their version. The guys at Progressive are really cool actually...

An AC Air Lite. I've been chatting with the guys at Highgear Racing, and they've been helpful. I considered wating for Manitou, but...well, you how that goes.
It looks like I'll probably go with the 5th element when I get the cash together. Gotta sell some more bike stuff to "make room" first.

Have you looked at the alternatives? Avalanche has a lot to offer for shocks as well, and it would be worth a look. www.avalanchedownhillracing.com if you haven't already seen 'em.
