Clear action shots with your typical digital camera are very difficult to get. BAH's VERY GOOD camera takes excellent images. Have you monkey's taken any action snaps that are this good? I challenge you to post them. I won't because I haven't. I am submitting BAH's web site to Dirt Biker magazine - I hope he has lot's of free bandwidth...

Have you had any issues with getting the bead to set on the Arrow? I have a somewhat difficult time getting it set right, it tends to blow off when filling it up. Also last time I was at Whistler the tire blew right off the rim. It sucked, I was near the top and had to walk all the way down.

Cool! What kind of bike is that? Who makes it? Nice cranks BTW.
that was cold, and obviously said out of jealousy, both of my bike and my superior (to you anyways) skills. I forgive you. But you really need to show more productive ways of venting your jealousy. I'll tell ya what, I'll think about letting you ride my beauty tonight, but just for a quick spin. Any longer and you will experience a rare disorder called Horstleitner Syndrome. Symptoms of withdrawal are hallucinations, diarrhea, and thinking you're a good rider because you can show old ladies and cops your skinny. So you must only ride it for a block or so.
Alright, you win. Keep practicing, when you gonna hit the DJ's with me?

Leigh gets her biked hauled around in RDR's trailer and Chandler is really fast! I think it is Sara Johnson I see racing more, but all of them are at the WIM races and many of them hit the CPR series up here.

I met them when we all turned pro together. (The Sara's & me), I met Leigh a few years ago at Mammoth, when they were running the Velocity. Then, I stayed w/them & Freak at Big Bear this year.
I wouldn't say we're best buds, but I really liked hanging with them. And, Sara's given me an open invitation to come ride & check out the new house. I think I'll hafta do that!!:D

dunno. it's in the U-District. just off the main drag on 45th I believe. next to the college, across the street from one of the entrances. next to frat row.
haven't been there in a long time. I would guess w/ the popularity of skating/bmx stunts that it's been dis-abled. the bank kept getting taller and taller the further it went.(it's low where i'm on it but if you came closer to the camera, it got taller. no ledge though)
I like that round the corner shot too. thanks.
ah...I think I know exactly where that bank is then...if it's the one I am thinking of, there is now a fence lining it which makes for a fun little fence ride...if it's not the one I am thinking of I am going to have to do a little exploring next time I am up there;)

Just kidn.
Yah yah got me. Hows is it you all?
Indeed Ice is right. The super 8 is down for count. I finally took the bike in to the shop after many many many months of abuse and I found super amounts of problems.
- Rear Shock seeped some air into oil ( I presume )
- Rear shock, lower mount bracket stripped and has been bent forever.
- Rear derailer hanger stripped ( the big extruded piece )
- BB all rusty ( I did fix this )
- Pinched Hydro brake line ( fixed )
- Hub Body bearings locked up in my hadley ( sorta fixed )
- Fork Seals Leaking
- Nearly every bolt loose ( fixed... for now )
- Chain Guide all fouled
- Chain quick release broke as I cleaned ( on a 60$ chain??? ) Fixed
- Optional: I am going to go to a faster 26" setup in the rear and I may build the wheels a little lighter this side of the 30 lbs that they are now. ( any ideas on Rims? )
Well, since this is a picture forum, I will post some other pictures I have sitting around uselessly on my HD... ( all my pics though )
So here you go, enjoy! ( BTW did I tell you I met Ryan Leech? Super cool guy )

dang, that sucks dude. so I'm guessing you're saving up for a new frame then?
I'm sure you could probably send the 5th back to them and have them overhaul it under warenty or something.
Is there anyway you could replace the swingarm to fix all the other problems, such as the bent and stripped shock mount? santa cruz might have some spare der. hangers, but i doubt it. might be able to find a used one.
Joe and i went back to the wall of death last night, i've learned how to ride up onto the wall perpendicular and do a 180 and ride back down. I was also able to to the small gap to trany that i did on your super 8. I was prety stoked about that.
As for new Rims, you might want to look into getting some halo combat rims, those are pretty strong, the next step up are the SAS rims which are even stronger, you can get those in black, white, or gold. I'm thinking about getting one pretty soon for my rear rim because mine is shot and has been for a long time. you might be able to call diatech directy and get a deal through them. but scott(a guy who works in the parts department at greg's) works at diatech too. you could talk to him and try and work something out. If you're deciding to rebuild front and rear, i might be interested in buying your 26" double wide if the price is right, and if its a 36. if its a 32 i guess i could just buy a new hub too.
anyways. i got to go. take it easy. and good luck with all the tko parts.

Haven't posted for a while but I built up a new ride today and have to share.
Well, the ol' double-boingy K2 never did work right for me so you will never see it on a trail again. Looked around and decided I needed a new attitude. I think Surly works for me. Ordered the frame last Saturday and got it this afternoon, already had the K2 totally stripped so I ditched work at 2 to go home and build it up. Started working at 4 and had the bike done about 6 so I went out and just donked around the neighborhood for about three hours. I think this is the best bike I have owned to date.
Black Comp 100mm fork with stiffer spring and lockout/damper upgrade, Deore hubs w/WTB double duty rims, Thomson post, LX cranks & ders. Avid disks.
