Hi,

The Mavic site doesn't say much, but is this rim the disc-only version of the F519 or the D521? Also, are they welded like the nicer Mavic rims?

Thanks! They are more like the 521, only comes in black and its the same width. Looks like a nice hoop.

I think that they are just pinned not welded cos they aren't that pricey.Indeed they are the disc only version of the 519.May get one myself to replace my Ritchey rim on the rear.

Yes, they are pinned not welded. The hardness of the finish is not quite up to Mavic's usual standards, but this is only an aesthetic issue, and only after use. I think they are a more "freeride" rim than the F519, which I use on my XC bike.
