im considering buying an RM9 but to be honest have heard more bad things than good about it. In fact i havent heard anything good about it. can anyone let me know whats such a problem with it? ive been told its a flexy long crap technically and eats shocks. is this tru?
it would be specced like a giant DH team including boxxers. so any ideaS?

I have spoken to a few riders out here in the east racing on them, and though they sure look alot nicer than the RM7 (flame paint), most of the riders stated that they actually liked the RM7 better overall, the 9 was not an advantage over the 7 and the balance on the 7 was much nicer than the 9...
the nice thing about the 7 to is that now alot of shops are letting them go fairly cheap..
Other than the rear swingarm breakage occurances that have plauged the whole series I can't tell you much more.

Would have made sense for me to tell you what it was for.
Is going to be a DHrace bike so i need it to ride real nice be stable at high speeds and pedal well. but also needs to be a good jumper.
I think im going to go for a YETI DH9 now instead as it will have the potential for all of this. and before any one says M1 or 222 or DHR i wanna be a bit different.
