My winter riding plans? What else is there but Ray's indoor MTB! Im planning on hitting the foam pit ALOT this year and trying to come up with a few tricks now that i have some air time under my belt. Tricks I'd like to learn and feel within my abilities are no-handers and a 360. I would also like to fine tune my flatty, and tail whip. But those arent really tricks to me more like a way to put some style into your airs.
I plan to keep in shape by attempting to eat well and some xc and staionary bike, along with some freeweights and and sit-ups/push-ups and the like to keep my core strong. The only problem is my xc rigs are both busted and i am having a hard time coming up with cash to get them running so a $700 credit could buy the crank or shock i need to get em running. My FR rig could use some attention too! Regardless it will be a long off season as winter in ohio seems to linger for a long time. See you at Ray's!
My winter riding plans are a lot like the summer riding plans ;)
Santa Barbara, Ca is blessed with a lovely Mediterrenean climate which makes riding year round downright pleasant! When its too wet to ride (5-10 days tops) I plan on digging on the trails a little.
There's a winter race series in Fontana I plan on racing.
Night riding is a must during the winter since its too dark after work otherwise. Two coworkers and myself have already begun our Wed night rides. Nothing quite like DH'ing at night!

Like Zark, I'm fortunate to live in great weather most of the year. The only thing to contend with are the shorter days. That said, I just pulled my bar and helmet lights out from storage and plan to do some night rides with my buds on the weekends. Weekdays are 7 mile street sessions to and from work.
I borrowed a friends P90X workout program and will start that up sometime this month. I know a few people who have done it with fantastic results. Hopefully I'll be able to complete the 3 month program.

After visiting the doctor recently and discovering a slight heart issue, I plan on following his advice and stay on the bike, although it will most likely be on the cross bike rolling pavement. My son asked me to start doing standard Navy "PT" with him, so hopefully that'll take the fluff layer i've accumulated.

I think ill probably just ride around on some trails or find some indoor park but the staying fit part might be a little tough.

Here in mid-mo we can usually ride MTB all year long. Last winter was terrible because it was so wet and mild. The trails never froze up enough. It was a slopfest and I try to be a good trail user so I don't ride wet trails. I'm actually hoping for a colder winter this year so I can ride more trail. Riding in winter is a lot of fun.
I need to lose a few pounds and I have one big ride tentatively planned for late January...so I'm going to get a set of rollers for the roadie. I used a borrowed set to prepare for last January's big ride and kind of enjoyed riding the rollers. Better than a trainer IMHO.
Plus I think I'll limit T-Day meals to seconds. No thirds or fourths.

Here in central Massachusetts we ride all winter long. If there's too much snow for bikes here in our back yards we'll drive an hour down to Cape Cod where the proximity to the ocean makes it a bit warmer and we can ride any time.

Our mountain is closing on the 16th and the snow will start shortly there after, but while the trails may disappear for awhile, we have some time to do some more digging, and we make due with the snow...

The biggest bonus of living in Washington - There's little difference between winter and summer riding... There's just no motorcyclists to dodge in the Capital Forest!
I, for one, don't expect the winter to slow me down much.
However, I've got a year climbing the mountains in Afghanistan to keep me in shape for riding next year - and they won't let me bring my bike! What a bummer - all those epic trails, and they're practically virgin as far as MTB stuff goes! (Not to mention spending all the time walking up just to turn around and walk back down)

In Southern California, the whole 'Winter / No Riding' thing doesn't exist. I just need to ride more. I need to finish putting my trailbike together and go explore the local xc / all-mountain'ish stuff. Like Zark said, there's the Winer Series in Fontucky for the first three or so months at the beginning of the year.

Attending the NW School of Freeride sessions, Learning some tricks on the recently built Dirt Jumps, build a pumptrack and shuttle Syncline WA most of the winter- because I am a shuttle whore!! Also a little indoor skateboarding, some snowboarding and chasing my wife around for some pickle tickle works for me!

My winter riding plans are probably to not ride to much. The winter kinda sucks here in Ohio. If there is not a lot of snow on the ground....heck ill still ride. I snowboard so i will be doing that to stay in shape, in other words i will not be in shape when it gets warm again.

Season is just getting started in SoCal, the heat is gone and winter rains mean nice tacky dirt and summer trail erosion can be repaired and new stuff built.
Gonna be a fun winter.

wonderful snowy xc on a single speed. as for staying in shape ill be out on XC ski's and the gym, awating to get my dh bike out in the spring again to ride it after i put it away, various parts of it will be going away over the winter to be rebuilt so i may not have it over the winter to ride it :(

This winter I plan on riding as long as there isn't snow or slush on the ground. It really doesn't get too bad here in Kansas during the winters. I'm weightlifting as usual and starting to run again to get the legs in shape. Mainly, I'm just going to try and get a lot of things done on my trail so I can ride all next year without doing so much trailwork. Here's me taking a much-needed break at my place:

I have found the best way to climb like a horny mountain goat is to ride fixed gear. Probably going to build up a quasi snow bike with 2.5s in the rear and 2.7s upfront and ride that with a 32:20 SS and Fixed Ratio off road and then ride a fixie to work as well.
And for after rides, build up the Beer Muscle with fine selections from BBC (Berkshire Brewing Company) and steak!

Well this would be a trick question given that I live in Auckland, New Zealand: It's Spring and Summer is just around the corner.
I put on a couple of kilos over Winter and didn't do any night riding this year at all.
I've started riding regularly on my custom made titanium singlespeed and I'm loving it. However, the tracks are all at least an hour away and more so we've bought a multi-trainer to 'ride' every other day.
I'd like to lose 10kg (yeah right!) over Summer. I haven't been under 90kg for 10 years!

my plan for the winter will start off by finishing our new dirt jumps we have been building, getting the excavator up there soon and putting in many hours of work should do the job! :) after that when the snow really starts to fall is when i'll be training for racing, going to work out as much as possible, ride in the worst possible weather that i can find, that way for the actual race season i'll be preped for the worst. go on long runs, xc rides, running with dog ect...
also planning on building a dh trail while i'm at it, so that will casue great fun and enjoyment in my life as well as staying on the bike and not just sitting on my ass all winter.
lots of airdome riding and indoor skate parks will also be going on this winter, so that i don't lose any skill in my "trickster" area of riding
lots of filming will be going on as well, if i have days that i can't get on the bike and i can't get on the skis, then i'll go film some other riders who i know will always be ready to ride! my friend also has an atv with a snow plow so i am sure that snow jumps are going to be happening alot
and the main thing that will keep me going all through the winter is the thought of racing, crankworks and loamy trails that flow into perfect tight dirt corners

Just planning on riding the garage of a local appartment that they built right next to my school a few weeks ago... Flatland, curbs, manual pads... etc. Pretty fun place, plus there's all this leftover wood there, I might make a wallride or something... It's a simple but great place to be... Definitely a good spot for the entire winter.
And then go xcing with my dad every weekend in the local dunes, when we finally get our car back =).
Cheers!
I'm hoping to get my Yakuza all built up asap! And although it snows here (in washington) I will be riding it any chance I can get! My last bike got stolen in 05 and I FINALLY bought this from somebody! Can't wait!

my winter riding plan is to ride as much as I can.
I'm just building a new bike, Banshee RUNE.
the frame is laying around in my house for about 2 weeks and I can't wait to build it already (waiting for all the components to arrive by mail).
winter here in Israel isn't that bad and there's no problem to ride most of the time.

It is all about throwing your snowboard gear on and riding your dj bike in the snow. For those of you that have not ridden in the snow, it is amazing how much grip you get!! Plus it is real easy to build a slalom run a sledding hill and make some banked turns and really lean in to them!! That is my plan...

Livin in wet old ireland I'll be doing lots of indoor strength training and watching of DVDs.
Riding as much XC on the weekends and the winter DH series starts in January.

My winter plans are to finally get My SC Bullit frame build up and do some downhilling. I've been away at college the last 3 years, and have only been able to do the occasional XC ride while at UCSB. My housemates and I are gonna be training full force so we can race DH in the Sea Otter this year. Living in Santa Cruz, we have awesome riding all season long, and Now that I am at UCSC, I have no excuse not to hit the trails every day. $700 would sure help in getting the bullit on the trails, it's been hard to do on a starving student budget.

This will be my 1st real winter in Northern California with my bike. So I'm stoked to ride the trails in Shasta County and the Burney area. I guess I'll have to dress warm, living in Florida all my life it was shorts 365 days.

Studded tires and platform pedals. Keep on riding!
I'm not looking forward to the cold at all. But we usually trudge through it and head out to Maryland trails, where the ground is made up mostly of rocks so the sludge of the Virginia mud is avoided for the most part. It's hard to consider biking when you freeze your nuts off just taking the dog for a walk. But when a friend calls and suggests a ride it's always best to accept.
At least during the winter you can enjoy a post-ride porter or Belgian brew.

I ride all through winter, no matter where I am. Both bikes and boards.
Winter in Kimcheeland is cold and windy as fock, but at least it's dry. Snow is powder, and awesome to rock bikeys in.
Might end up back in Van for Christmas with the family, winter there isn't so cold; just wet and sloppy.
If I do spend time indoors this winter, it'll be time spent putting the finishing touches on my first frame designed and zipped up myself. And drinking beer.
I'll prolly spend time on a boat getting wet for a couple weeks in Thailand, too, while I throw my middle finger up at everyone stuck in the cold.
I'll be sure to post up pics. :)

Winter riding plans. Ugh. I hate the trainer as much as everyone, but that's going to be the way of life this winter. Occasional forays out in the snow on the mountain bike may be in the cards, but I'm not counting on any of those at all.

I don't ride much in the winter. The bike gets put away and the skis get taken out. Just because I'm not riding doesn't mean I am any less active. Skiing, snowboarding, lifting weights, running, spinning...I'm always active.
But there is definitely a whole lot of this:

I had big plans to get back into racing this winter. After a few years off the big bike. I was planning on doing the Fontana series. Instead it looks like I will be riding the couch for a few months. The doc says it is finally time to take care of a torn ACL that has been bugging me for a while now. The surgery is mid Novermber so I'm trying to get in as much milage as possible. I guess I will have plenty of time for bike maintenance and walking around.
My plans are to brave the cold weather and ride the frozen trails. I wont be doing this alone as I have been training with a new riding partner that is always ready to ride rain or shine. He is not used to our Canadian cold climate however he will adapt.
Anyone know of 550's in his size?

Well my winter riding and training is a busy time for me.I will be riding singletrack and dirt roads until the snow gets too deep to ride, I will also be doing trainer rides 3 times a week. I will be on high tech system that measures my out put and will help me work on my weakness over the winter. That the hard work part, now for the fun part. I will be going to the indoor skateparks once or twice a week to do a little fun riding.I do this to work on my handling skills and to also improve over ability on the bike. Then every other week a group of us will be heading down to Rays to get in a some riding.

Well, here at Argentina summer is at the gates, but since I'm changing my job next monday, I won't have any vacation 'till the winter comes down here. So, as far as it goes, it'll be winter for me. I guess I'll become more a "weekend warrior"... I plan on taking my bike out every weekend, maybe make a couple of short trips to Tandil (the locals are finishing a nice 4X course, and some DJ lines), and maybe hit some urban obstacles on my way home from work...

I commute several days a week from Northwest DC to the Washington Navy Yard. Much of my 8.5-mile route follows bike trails, but some of it is on heavily trafficked roads. The trip takes about 40 minutes each way, and I am fortunate to be able to shower and change at my place of work — a factor that allows me to ride harder and faster to work. The highlight of my ride in the morning is seeing a sunrise or surprising a blue whale feeding along the Potomac.

In the afternoon, the ride allows me to unwind and forget about work. Biking, especially in heavy traffic, requires so much concentration that one can’t afford to think much about work. Like DH, FR, skiing or snowboarding, it has a tendency to take one’s mind away from the daily stresses of life and focus them instead on a physical activity.

Well unfortunately I tore my ACL at a downhill race this summer. Had surgery mid July and started rehab the next day. Sadly I can not do any "aggressive" riding until February or March. Don't think that will stop me from training my a$$ off this off season! I had talked to bikejames on here a while about his mountain bike training program. I decided to get it and started it 2 weeks ago, so far very impressed. It is a 4 month program and I plan on running through it twice before the downhill season starts. Seeing as how I will be in Cat 1 instead of Expert I really want to be in the best shape possible. Podium(ing) as much as I can is the goal.
I have not been able to ride all that much lately, so I have just been building trails to ride when I can get back on and do jumps and drops again. I am allowed to do normal trail riding, which I plan on as much as I can. Although this normal trail riding will be done on my DH race rig, my Judge.
I usually just ride and build myself so rarely have pictures unless there at races. So here are a couple pictures of some things I have been working on building.
It's about a 6ft high by 15 to 20ft gap depending on where you land.

Next is a 35ft log ride I made after that drop. Took a while to shave the top to flat haha.

Since I live in Montana, my riding options are limited in the winter. But, I do plan to stay in shape by the orbital machine in my basement and swimming. I'm building a new bike over the winter, a Corsair Maelstrom. Once that's built, I think I might have to sneak in a trip down to Moab. :D :D

I'm going to give nightriding a try this year. Our local advocacy group successfully petitioned a nearby park to offer legal nightriding 2x a week. I'd be a fool not to try it.

It's all about layers here in New England. I start with a long sleeve poly and an old raggedity fleece. After about 10 minutes I'm usually stripping off the fleece unless it's really cold. Night riding in the winter is pretty sick. Cold, slick trails, and lights make for a crazy ride. My legs don't get cold so I use the same shorts that I use all summer. Merino wool socks w/standard biking shoes works fine for me.
I'll ride pretty much year round here on the Boston North Shore. The snow will arrive sometime in December which can cause problems. Once you get over 4" on the trails you're in trouble until the rain comes and then freezes. Then the studs come out which are pretty amazing to ride.
Other than riding I'll indoor rock climb and play ultimate. Keeps me in good enough shape to start kicking ass when the mud dries up.

My winter fitness plans include a standard 3/1 days of Crossfit, while watching my nutrition by eating a paleo/zone type of diet. Plan to lift as heavy as I can, continue the gymnastics and martial arts and ride at night and on weekends as long as the snow isn't deep. This'll be my first year to mtb through the winter. Looking forward to it!

Winter in Texas isn't so bad, so I'll continue to hit the trails on the weekends, but the shorter days do limit some of my weekday activities to mostly afterwork trail runs on a short trail in my neighborhood. I'm also trying to mix up my normal mountain bike racing schedule with some road and/or off-road duathlons, and maybe some running races (sub 25K stuff). Even on foot, I prefer the trails.

Riding in winter in Colorado is limited to the lower country, but still can be a lot of fun. Many layers keeps you warm and the scenery is incredible. Except for heavy snow days, I'll be riding year round here.

I am in northern IL 5 minutes away from WI. Winter sucks. Still ride to work though!
Our summer is your winter...
No, i'm not in NZ and I'm not an Aussi. SoCal BABY!!
In the summer if you aren't done with your ride by 11am, it gets so hot out that you start to melt. Or at least my NewEngland transplanted butt does. Winter on the other hand means average high temps in the low 70's. PERTFECT riding weather. Plus, a lot of my friends will be training for the VisionQuest in March (55+ miles and 11k+ elevation gain). I'm not stupid enough for that though. ;)
We will have some nice epics on the way though.
Only 2 seasons in Southern California...... "Summer" and "Wildfire"!
Here in beautiful sunny Southern California, "seasonal plans" don't change much.
The only "hinderance" is the January/February rains which really help to shore-up the trails.

My winter training will consist of swimming and trailbuilding. The swimming will keep me fit and ready to shred as soon as race season swings around, and the trailbuilding will keep me stoked on riding!
I have two sets of wheels with my bike in the car, one with regular (freeride) tires, another with studded tires, so i'm ready for whatever comes.

well, in central illinois we don't have a whole lot of "mt biking" to be done...since there are no mountains. so, while i'm here finishing up my last year of my master's degree i'll keep the wheels of my commuter bike rollin'. can't wait to get back to idaho and jump back on the titus!
ps...all of you out west are making me seriously jealous!
I usually spend my off season in the weight room. I will ride around the neighbor hood on my mountain or BMX bike whenever I get a chance but I work from dark to dark right now so its pretty difficult

Winter plans = MTB. I already took my backup tire and stuck screws in it for make-shift tire spikes. I did it last year for the first time and it works AMAZING! Therefore I will be continuing to mtb over rough technical terrain in Connecticut, and when there is no snow, all hail the mud! Gotta love the stuff! I am stoke for the winter. So I say "Bring it Mother Nature and give me something I can't tackle!"
Also to keep in shape i will be running and sprinting a few miles almost everyday to get in shape for race season.

Otherwise its time to use a light since the days are shorter. I hate to mention this but I do have a road bike too... :)

My winter riding plans? Keep riding all winter, same as the summer. Although winter brings more lowland XC rides, while we switch to riding the more rocked-in trails of the Shore so as to minimize damage to the trails which still have dirt on them. More shuttling at Seymour, Ned's and Pingu/Pangor are always a good time in the rain! and Pipleline and Espresso on Fromme are fairly well armored. Black Rock down in Oregon is always a good bet, it tends to be drier than many of the Puget Sound-area trails. And of course early morning skatepark poaching sessions on my Trail or Park: every skatepark is bike-friendly at 7am!

Winter is upon us, however, here in Colorado, it's not that big of a deal. Why? The Sun! I use to live in Cleveland Ohio, home of the perma grayness that runs thick, cold, and 4-5 months long. Thank God for Ray and Rays MTB park there, for those people would be suffering dearly. Now that I reside in Colorado, riding is pretty much tolerable all year round thanks to the sun. But, if you really want to know how to stay in shape and or get in shape (for those DHers like me who put on some lbs in their twenties) you can read my fitness blog of how I went from 234 lbs to 185 lbs from Jan. 08 to May 08. It's a simple concept of carb manipulation, target heart rate training, and consistancy. Feel free to check out how I dropped 50 lbs last year and how I plan to do damage control this year throughout the holiday season by clicking my site link here; www.JoshReam.info . I logged and built the site to help others who gained weight from desk jobs and boredom.
One thing I found that is the number one way for burning calories: Cycling! Just a casual ride around the hood at a breathable pace for an hour and a half will burn an excess of a thousand calories. But most of you probably already know this.
I just wanted to chime in on the fitness and share my story, I hope the store credit goes to the guy who deserves it the most. Keep on keeping on and don't ever stop cycling, whatever your cup of tea is these days!

Here in Seattle we just got a cool new riding area right downtown under the I-5 corridor. It's called the Colonnade (http://evergreenmtb.org/wiki/index.php?title=Trail:I-5_Colonnade) and it's where I imagine a lot of us will be doing some Winter training/skill building. Other than that, a lot of hitting the gym and riding the trainer at home. Of course there will be plenty of beer drinking to offset any potential gains made from training.

The nuclear blast from my new NR Tri-Newt and Minewt lights during 3HR cc night rides will keep me strong and ready for the Punk Bike Enduro here in Pittsburgh. As much as I look forward to it, I dread that it's the last great ride before the cold freezes me immobile. Then that RAY of light shines through across the border in Ohio. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, it's Rays MTB, gonna keep me stylin' all winter long. Built a BLK MRKT Riot special just for Ray's. Then I decided to build some dirt jumps in the back yard, where the hot cocoa will keep me warm and rippin!

Santa Cruz is a great place to ride in the winter. I actually love the trail conditions brought about by the rain, and the cool days are quite nice too. Once in a while it'll get down to the 40s, but usually it's in the 50s and 60s.
I'm a teacher, so I get home at about 3. I plan on riding road quite a bit, as the mud gets into the small parts of the other bikes.
The single speed will get pulled off the hook too, as its simplicity keeps the gunk from affecting it.
I plan to continue going to the club where I work out, in order to stay fit in other ways. I play volleyball, softball, racquetball, walleyball, and ultimate for crosstraining.
I'd post a pic but I'm at work...maybe when I get home!

This winter I plan on concentrating on a really good base fitness. I want to race MTB XC in the summer and Cyclocross again next fall, but I want to do better. ;)
I will have a new Cyclocross bike shortly, so my old one will be on the trainer in the basement 24\7. Going to workout my core and build strength with leg workouts as well.

This year I plan to actually use my Kreitler Rollers on a more consistent basis. In addition to riding more inside compared to just hopping on the treadmill, I'm also looking to purchase a set of lights to ride on the roads by my house. My first choice when riding is offroad but I dont have a whole lot of good offroad riding close to my house.
Instead of riding my good road bike I have an old beater Diamond Back mountain bike with slicks that I will be using. I wont be concerned with the salt and grime and will therefore use it more often.

This winter is going to be a rehab season for me. Living in San Diego, we have year around riding. In fact, this time of year is prime riding weather. Nice and cool, a little moisture in the air and a light rain every now and then to keep the ground somewhat moist. After a really bad crash on the BMX track that has caused some major neck issues, I've been parked by my doctor for the better part of 3 months. In another couple of weeks I should be able to get back on the trails and get the 15lbs I've put on since the crash, burned off. I'm hitting the trainer right now just to try and get my neck used to the weight of a helmet again before I'm cleared to go on the trails again. If I can get my stamina up a bit by February, I'm hoping to be able to ride Big Laguna Mountain while it's nice and cold out there.
Here's a picture of the helmet I killed in the face plant that's caused all the problems.

For my winter riding, I plan to ride until the trails close, which is the first snowfall, all decked out in my cold weather gear and cheap fullface helmet, trying to enjoy the mountain (ha, yea right, as if we have mountains in ohio) for as long as possible. Then when the first snowfalls, I will break out the studded tires and continue to commute to school for as long as my parents will let me. Then I am going to try and build a snow pumptrack in my backyard, I got enough snow to do it last year, so lets hope we get lucky again. Then when christmas time hits, I am going to drive down to my sisters house, and hopefully be there when my neice is born. I am then going to spend my days doing homework and pacing around my basement, waiting for the damn snow to melt. I also will continue to build up my vagrant frame, the last one actually. you have no idea how infuriating it is to have a brand new Fox fork and Vagrant frame sitting in your basement, waiting for all the rest of the parts to arrive  It is my first real nice bike, raceface cockpit, Bontrager Big Earl Pedals, Bombshell wheels, Magura Louise Brakes, and a Sram drivetrain.
I'm currently living in Southern CA, so my riding plans will be about the same for when I'm here. I'm spending about a month in NY between December and January though, and I hope to get in some good winter rides while I'm there. Snowmobile trails are prime.

I damn sure could use some wet/cold gear to make life easier. and I got no pics.

My training has already begun recently. I have team xc rides every sunday morning from 9am-12pm. I ride to and from school on my fixie, and have a mix of riding downhill, bmx, and xc on weekdays and free days on weekends. I am doing whatever trips and races I can (race 4 tara this weekend and downieville and stuff). I also surf almost everyday which I consider keeping myself in shape and it's my crosstraining.

Well, it's still Fall and the rainy season has begun in the Bay Area. I've not ridden since the first rain and am looking forward to doing so this weekend.I want to put together a night riding group for at least one night per week. I've been recovering from a car accident that happened just a day after Thanksgiving last year so I pretty much missed Spring and Summer riding till August. My 50th birthday is January 20th 2009. Guess what else happens that day, "Innauguration Day". GOBAMA!!!!! Just had to add that! I'm going to buy myself a new frame and front fork as a present to myself. Just have to decide between an Ibis Mojo, Blur LT2 or maybe even a Nomad. Can't wait to retire my beloved Heckler for a new steed. I plan to get a couple of Fall rides in at Downieville and perhaps a trip down to SoCal over the winter to ride. Locally, I plan to explore a bunch of trails around the Bay Area that I've never ridden. I could really use this gift certificate towards my next ride.

Hopefully I will have my bike fixed abd rideable by the time the rain starts this season... But I plan on practicing and riding every day until its too dark to see the trail. I plan on dialing my sprinting endurance by practicing on the 400yd bumpy singletrack straightaway in Calaveras, I'm going to do major work on my exlplosions off the line and out of every corner, and I'm also going to perfect my entries into rock gardens as much as I can as well as work on holding a true line in off-camber rocks.
My off season has been since June after I broke my bike beyond repair by the money I have, but in that time, I've been building new trails, maintaining and remodeling old stuff and helping my friends to become better riders in the aspects they want.
As soon as the rain comes and my bike is fixed, I'm not getting off it!

its winter, all that means is that i won't be sweating as much :D
plenty of urban riding still to be done, but it'll be a bit harder to dig/shape features.
as for downhilling, Diablo converts back to Mountain Creek so even tho i'll still be spending every weekend there, the bike will be staying home. theres no time to get fat when theres snowboarding to be done!

My winter riding plans involve no snow! Living in Miami - this the prime time to ride. Surrounded by the asphalt jungle, I've taken my much-loved Monocog Flight from it's focus as a single track machine and oriented it towards longer distance gravel grinds.

Finally - I will also be breathing life into a 1977 Fuji Special Tourer frame, turning it into a single speed city mosheen, which I picked up for a very cheap deal this summer at a garage sale. (the red bike is not mine - but is the theme I'm shooting for w/ my refurbishment of the yellow Fuji).

Winter riding??? I don't like riding that much in snow and slush and ice and cold wind etc. I prefer to go skiing. My daughter also have to learn skating this winter and continue her progression on XC skiing. That fun and it's alway good time spent with her
To stay in shape I play Hockey, I enjoy XC Skiing, and do some bike trainner inside too even if it's boring like hell!

I'll be trail riding until the snow gets too deep, then probably put some miles in on the road. When we really get some snow, I'll bust out the xc skiis and snowshoes. I'll do everything I possibly can to avoid the indoor trainer/exercise routine....outdoors time keeps my sanity.

My plans for this winter include alot of Santa Cruz mud and even more of its air. I'm in for a treat as my ~2002 Hayes brakes are shot and with the thick mud, I may be sledding more than biking down the trails. New brakes are in the budget, but they are beneath building a dh rig for my gf for christmas (shh, don't tell).
My health plans are also centered around mountain biking. I was recently told that my 20 year old blood pressure is way too high and more exercise is required to bring it down :clapping:.
So this winter will be yet another great season shredding the hillsides of Santa Cruz!

Here in Florida there are only two seasons: Summer and Football.
Once the quit-smoking takes effect (it's only been two weeks), I hope to spend the winter getting back in shape enough to do 35mph again. I honestly don't know if the cassette on my daily commuter will do that. But that can be rectified. I'm just not going to let me be why it doesn't happen. I don't need to lose weight. And I'm as strong as I ever was. It's just that my stamina is crap.
Hopefully by the time the Buc's are playing in the Super Bowl at home, I'll be able to ride over the bay and cheer them on. In record time to boot.
Go Buc's !!
luv, out...
Just got a new riding spot. Plan on doing a ton of digging and riding this winter out there.

As Stinky said - Our season has just begun... however with my ridiculous travel schedule of late, think I need to start hitting the gym!
I'm traveling 4 to 6 days per week and covering too much area to get used to any one city. So I guess I'm gonna have to start figuring out a workout regimen that I can do in the hotel rooms.
In the mean time I have 6 bikes, but only 2 of them are functional... one of those being my old fixie. So I'm not the only item that needs a little work.
My winter riding will consist of searching for clear streets to ride. Last year we had a mini-pipe in the upstairs of my LBS to ride all winter, which is now in my yard. Haha.
We'll have to see what happens, maybe find a place for a small indoor park.

Winter in southern Cal lets me ride whenever I have time. Unfortunately, I only get out about once a week, at most. I would love to get my new 29er singlespeed out for a ride, but haven't been able to since I built it a few months ago. I will try to augment this with a few road rides and cross train by dragon boating and paddling my outrigger canoe. I'll probably throw in a few trips to the snow for boarding as well.

I'll be backcountry xc skiing on all the trails my crew and I mtb on. While this might sound pretty lame, it actually is pretty awesome fun, and many of us are seasoned downhillers on the bikes. Letting the skis go on the tech stuff gets pretty mental. Last year we had near record snowfall here in Ottawa, which made for serious hilarity. Hoping for good snow this year.
When conditions permit, I like to get in some snow mtb rides on top of riding around town all winter on the fixed gear beater. If we fall short in the snow department, I think we'll get in some winter road rides on our favourite backroads.

Winter for me always means night riding, I'm already doing my after work night rides since it get's dark at 5pm now.
My favorite kind of night riding in the winter when snow is on the ground is to get up at 3am & drive to a spot near here where there is heavy snowmobile traffic & ride those trails in the pre-dawn hours.
You have to get there at about 4am when they are as frozen as possible & be out right after sunrise before they start to get soft. The trails are packed solid by the snowmobiles making them like a BMX track, completely smooth & unbelievably fast & these trails are very rolling (no real extended uphills or downhills) alof of banked turns so the experience is just outrageous!
The other great thing about winter XC riding when there is no snow is that by January all the leaves have been blown off the trails & the dirt has been frozen solid making for superfast buffed out trails, it feels like you're riding on concrete & makes for some crazy fast group hammer sessions.
I love getting back to the house after being out on the trails for 4 or 5 hours in 30 something degree weather, making a fire in the woodburning stove & some hot coffeee and kicking back on the couch reading Dirt or Decline.
Another plus about winter is building your DH bike for next year & looking forward to the UPS truck showing up with more goodies for you, if you space out your purchases a bit it's like Christmas every week!
I think one of the best things about winter is it's a time of possibilities, time spent wisely on training can make next season as good as you want it to be & over those 5 months your anticipation builds for those first spring races until they finally arrive and a fresh racing season is upon us.

over the summer while my shoulder was screwed from a may dit bike accident i started on a custom frame for dirt jumping, and i am finally testing (and loving) it. in oregon the dj's get a little to soggy over winter, but i have a skate park half covered by a bridge, and the entire oregon state campus to ride, full of stair sets, ledges, gaps, tweaked sidewalk ramps and plenty of goofy looking pedestrians to dodge :poster_oops:

Well, I just moved to Windsor, Ontario from Vancouver BC. Let me tell you the winters will be a quite a bit different, there won't be any mountain rides that start in snow at the top and come out in shorts weather at the bottom in Windsor. I will be lucky to ride in the winter in Windsor but I will try my best (trails need some overhauling - so that will keep me busy as well). So my training would be my indoor trainer and the gym any chance I get inbetween working and trying to build my dream bike for racing next year.

I'll be doing some urban night riding on the new cannondale chase. Ride through the local golf courses and colleges.
Maybe I should buy a light? haha then I'll just mantain all my riding habits just in the dark with more warm clothes.
Plan on riding the new Ridley Noah a bit too. Luckily no snow here just wet and cold.
My cyclocross season doesn't end until December 15th and I'll take a two week break and then start base training on the 1st for the upcoming road/xc season. I love long training rides in the winter, its a time to relax and hang out with friends....plus its always a bit of an adventure. We'll start racing road in Feb. and XC in April. Living in the SF Bay Area makes for even better riding in the winter. My winter plans usually include even more riding than spring or fall because I have extra time that is usually taken up by sports in fall and spring. This winter, I'm planning on packing up all my stuff in the mornings, going to school, and then riding directly afterwards. I just can't wait to ride in the rain, the local trails are off the hook in the wet. I'll still be in shape because I have to start training for track, so winter riding is all about having fun for me.

Living in the city I commute by bike (fixie) everywhere so I will ride through it all like I have always done. I doubt it will snow but if it does, oh well, the snow has never stopped me from riding! Just throw on some more layers and deal with it! Ride hard enough and I'll work up a sweat and keep my self warm. I am fortunate that I live in an area that doesn't stay cold all winter. We get our share of snow but it goes away quickly. I will spend some time in the gym, building muscle and using the stationary to maintain endurance. I will ride all I can to keep my on trail skills. I have not stopped riding any winter since my injury and hope that It pays off. I took some video up in the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado to play on the DVD while I use my fluid trainer. I have tried to upload pictires of my back yard and the thread keeps rejecting it.

Live in NNJ, ride all year long regardless of weather, anything less than 6" snow, homemade spiked tires if necessary, if it snows too much we ride the skateparks. Couldn't imagine not riding? Me and my dad (ages 36 and 69!) ride every weekend---there is no offseason for us, just change from DH lift serviced riding in summer; to wet, leafy singletrack goodness in fall; to slippery white peace and quiet in winter, to indoor skatepark on a 24, to spring thaw, rain, and mud flavored xc. On the rare occasion we can't ride-its back to the weight room for powerlifting for the upcoming DH season. Loving it all!

I'm going to try and spend as much time as I possibly can at Ray's indoor mtb park. I went three times last year and it was amazing how much that place makes you progress. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDgmSpD9Qak (I'm the kid trying the back flip and in the last two shots). The girl in the beggining of that video is my girlfriend, Ray's is what really got her into mountain biking. When she first got there she was terrified that she was gonna get run over by the end she was in the foam pit. Its an awesome place.
ps. THANK YOU Ray and all of the volunteers and employees that work there you guys ROCK!

My plans for this winter are to actually get in better shape that I was during this past riding season.
My workshop in the basement has been converted over to 'workout room' for the winter, mainly because it has TV and will be easy to keep warm with a tiny space heater. Weight training and a stationary trainer will hopefully get me in shape to be wearing a bathing suit in Feb (woo south america).

I ride every weekend and sometimes quit work early to ride during the week. I'm working on technical skills, overall stability, and comfort at speed.
I ride Tunnel for fast technical, cold springs for smooth, and san yasidro for corners along with knapps castle for pedaling. Its all good stuff out here in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. can't complain about perfect weather all year long!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6IfHyq3Hpc
Here's a video of me on cold springs the other day, getting my groove on hahaha...
Other than riding I go to the gym and that sort of thing trying to get in super shape for the 2009 racing season. Looking forward to the little races along the way before the real season starts, like fontana annual and winter series races.. that sort of thing.
Good times!
Here in Southern New England you can ride most of the winter. Last year I rode at least twice every month (just for good measure). The key is riding a singlespeed with as little suspension as possible. The cold weather tends to make suspension sticky and slow. Winter suspension around here consists of big fat tires. I ride 2.1's on my singlespeed most of the year but in the winter I bust out the 2.5's.
As long as the snow is reasonably packed down and there are no two foot storms, you can ride pretty much all winter...

This is only my second season of riding and I have become completely hooked. I have learned a LOT about riding this year - some lessons have hurt more than others. So, I guess my riding plans for this winter are simple: I am going to learn how to ride in the snow. I'm sure I'll have plenty of crashes but that just makes for good stories to tell my coworkers, right?
Not only am I planning on riding whenever I can this winter, but I am also planning on training for a 10k, just for a little motivation to stay in shape. I don't want to lose any of the strenght I built up this year. I am also planning on using the trainer when the weather won't cooperate & I have arranged for my BF to teach me how to use the weights in basement too!
Hopefully, I'll be a lean, mean, riding machine next summer... then maybe I can finally make it up the firewall at Vietnam... LOL!

My winter plans?...Get a new bike, ride it when I can, and the rest of the time head to the mountains and board. And if none of that works out....go to LA Fitness.

This winter I'm really planning on building a new ramp for my backyard, I want a nice box jump, badly. I also plan on riding the DH bike alot more, and riding the BMX bike as much as I normally do (everydayish). In addition, I'd like to get my DS/ XC/ non-bmx-trails slayer dialed in. I hate everything about it, so I'm on the hunt for a complete, geared, chromo, 26" slayer.
But right now, I've been riding this thing, I like it alot.

this winter, most of my riding will be street, park and dj if i can find anything not covered in snow, but ill shovel snow off the dj's. also if i finnish up my dh build this winter ill be doing a lot of downhilling up at my local trails.
to keep in shape while im not riding i will be doing a lot of spinning and running, and sticking around at the gym to keep in shape.
also if i have enough cash, theres gunna be a lot of snowboarding being done
My winter riding plans are to try to get back into shape from back surgery I had in 2007. I need to keep doing the PT and I'd like to try to ride once a week if I can. Gone are the days of dirt jumping and street riding. I'll be happy to be able to do some epic XC rides by spring and to be able to ride when I want, not when my body says I can.

Most winters I hang up the bikes and get out the snowboard. but this year I am keeping the bikes down thanks to Al Gore's little theory "Global Warming" So I'm planning on riding some freeride and cross country. I would like to ride some Downhill but all the hills within 500 miles are covered in snow... But I'll likely go there for some Snowboarding :lighten:
And also I am going to be building up a new Freeride rig for the spring season which will severly cut into my play money for winter... UNLESS out of some bizarre chance i win the giveaway!!!:greedy:

There is no off-season for me. In Santa Cruz, I can and do ride through winter as there is rain which means sliding around and building more stuff which makes spring funner. Riding year long makes me fit.

Moved to Lake Tahoe this past June, so I won't be riding much this winter, but I WILL be skiing about 5 days a week. Plus my new house has about 50 stairs up to it from the street, so that'll help keep me in shape too.

Winter plans are to get back into shape where I can actually ride. My lungs operate at 60% of their capacity. I had planned to buy a gym membership and work out everyday to get a decent core build/muscle base. I'm 6' 145lbs of bones and it's obvious in my riding. The day after I decided to get a gym membership I wind up with torn muscles and tendons from my cervical spine to my lower back and very severe concussion. The doctor orders me to get a gym membership. Alright!

I'm helping to build two other pump tracks in town and cross country trails in two different trail systems.
I've got my road bike and trainer back so I will be spending mornings spinning away, until I can get back on my bike.
Once I get back on my bike in mid february I'll be working on getting my DH riding technique a little more tuned in.
With three pump tracks, tons of new trails in two trail systems getting back on my bike will feel amazing.

I've been battling some IT-band issues the last few months. My usual go-to fitness regimen during Winter is the old PreCor stairstepper that we've had at home for more than a decade. It's been bulletproof and I'd recommend it to anyone, but the decade of stairstepping and heavy squats at the gym are likely what brough on the IT-band problem. So I just bought a Kinetics Rock&Roll trainer a few weeks ago, and I love it! I set it up out in the garage, which is great now that it's cold, and I've got a reading rack and a radio for listening to NPR while spinning away. FWIW, I got the trainer on sale as a demo model right from the Kinetics website. Still spendy, but it's nice enough that I'll actually use it.

This winter I'll be riding as weather permits, which isn't often, probably only twice per month. Other than that I'll be hitting up the ski slopes. I'll probably sign up for a spin class and impress the chicks with my mad pedaling skills. I may also break out the trainer and ride on it at home. I'll also probably do one trip to Rays to keep my jumping skills intact.
My plan for keeping fit include some time riding my bike on the trainer (3 rollers type), lots of snowshoeing and even more time with a snow shovel in hand....
Here's a pics of my place last winter after the last snow storm, and we did have a bit more after that....

My winter riding plans are to ride! I took up mountain biking because I moved to San Luis Obispo California from Lake Tahoe and there's no snow here to ski on. I gotta shred the mountains somehow and shredding dirt is almost as fun as shredding snow....
I'll be riding my SS Rigid 29er at some local trails, riding bmx when it's dry enough in town,
trying to get up for some DH runs when the weather allows it, hopefully snowboarding at
least once or twice unlike last year, and keeping up with walking my doggie every day.
And trying not to drink too much beer.
And here's some pics:

So this winter I'll keep in shape a few ways
Every winter, I ski, and I play squash on the school team
Very intense" is how I would describe squash, and I'll certainly stay fit playing it 6 days a week.
Everybody who plays understands what a workout it can be
Nowhere near as fun as biking though...
However, the mountains are where I really like to be, so
Undoubtedly I'll ski as much as possible.
New England mountains can be pretty icy, but there's a huge variety of terrain to ride.
Double blacks, terrain parks, tree and bump runs, I'll have hit it all by January.
Really looking forward to ski season, almost as much as I'm looking forward to biking next spring
Expensive lift tickets are going to be a problem
Definitely my favorite sport, save biking
Down here in Connecticut the snow melts quickly so whenever it's not too muddy, I'll be riding like usual.
Over the winter I'll be building up a new frame too (and I certainly need all the help I can get :happydance:)
Low temperatures alone can't stop me from biking
Long into December I expect to be riding
And thank god for indoor skateparks, I'll have a legit place to ride when there is 6 feet of snow outside.
Ray's Indoor MTB park is where I hope to ride when muddy outdoor trails would be ruined if ridden.
So active am I over the winter that I don't even know what "Holiday weight gain" is.

Crashed badly back in July. The saga has resulted in a damaged optic nerve behind my right eye. Two surgeries down, at least one to go.
My winter plans include a new fork for a JP Weigle roadie, Nordic skiing with the family, new head set and fork for the Monocog (bike I crashed on), and indoor futbol.
I plan on simply getting back in the saddle, surgery permitting.

This should be my first uninterupted winter season from 3 years so I'll be riding my snowboard as much as I can in the weekends. For bike related stuff my winter plans consist mainly on 3 times a week gim training and probably 2 times a week pool. I'll probably add a horrible diet to that (outmeal and a lot of other crazy food). To keep in touch with my bike I'll probably be riding my newly build DJ bike. Still can't get used to a small HT frame and flats after riding cliped in a fully for 5 years but when I master it I think it's gonna be crazy fun.

I look to be racing my first dual slalom race in over 12 years as well as a Super D race (which is new to me) after the new year.
Living in Vegas I have the added benefit of year round riding.
I recently picked up BMX racing again on my custom 20" and 24" bikes and this winter I have several snowboard runs planned to local/nearby resorts, as well as teaching my wife to snowboard. Also to mix things up I have two scuba diving trips planned before the end of January. I have also cleaned off the rollers and have been riding them at least 4 days a week and plan on continuing that pattern. I have been riding to work at least one day a week weather/personal life schedual permited. My wife has also put both of us on a strict diet as well.
All of this in effort to get a strong start back into mtn biking.
I hope to smoke 'em in the DS, and be at least competitive in the Super D.
....yes all the pics are of ME riding, diving, and MY bikes....

This winter i will stay in shape by helping maintain the Highbridge Dirt Jumps in NYC, and helping out @ Cunningham trails as well.
Last winter, I was a GYM RAT, and lost a total of 40 Pounds, but stopped going to the gym once the DH season began. I plan on losing another 15 pounds this winter and work on my Stamina & Endurance by riding my DH bike on XC trails, and also by jogging and hitting some Spin-Cycles classes.
I will also work on mastering my photography skills:

So that i can take some more awesome shots in the 2009 DH season.
I will also practice on my DJ skills!

This winter I am going to try to keep in shape for next race season by hitting the gym 2-3 days a week and start doing more cross and xc riding (as soon as I am healed up and can afford to fix my bike). I am going also do some trail building and dh riding just to keep my skills up.
Unfortunately with the accident I was in I will be off the bike for the next few weeks while my leg recovers. Another bummer is I racked up a ton of medical bills from almost dieing (severed a femoral vein in my thigh with my brake lever - it went in 3-4 inches), so all of my funds for next season are gone and then some. And to ad more insult to injury, I need a new front wheel, shifter, grips/bar ends, and derailleur hanger for my short travel bike. Stupid car. Having this gift certificate would help me so much!
Ridemonkey, please make all of my winter bike dreams come true and help me get my bike fixed and in working condition for the rest of the winter! All I want to do is ride! Pretty please help me!
Here is my leg right now:

As a bit of a newbie to fr I plan to get a hardtail fr to learn some stuff on campus while riding the snow with the locals at the trails. Trail building and encouraging beginner stunts at the trails as well as trying to finish off our pump track. Starting up a MTB program at my work in the Rec. Center.(Outdoor Pursuit Center) Rock climbing as always! Getting a MTB interest in our community as there seems to be little interest yet so many students have bikes that could easily hit the trails. So if all that running around and riding doesn't keep me in shape there is always working out with my wife 3 days a week!

Despite living in Upstate NY, I ride all year long. When the snow flies, I mount my studded snow tires and wait until it freezes for some fun. If the snow is too deep to ride outside, I hit the rollers or CycleOps in my basement for a spin while watching my daughter play. I also hope to hit Rays atleast once this winter for some indoor fun so I need to get my Cowan built up (the poor guy is just hanging naked on my basement wall right now)! When I tire of the rollers/trainer, I will hit the bar (also in my basement) for some good beer or bourbon or I'll head out for some 2-stroke fun on my MXZ (Ski-doo). Anyway you look at it, I will be having a good time!
winter. were to start. thee's always skiing to keep the leg in shape, some trainer sessions, and when ever possible just get out and hit the trail. snow biking is fun so just brave the cold weather and get out onto the trails and have a ball. that is my plan for stayin gin shape this winter.

I'm going to use the left more because the right is just getting way too strong.
And I might do a bit of riding as well.
Now, where were those pictures...
Ma. is great year round for riding...well except early spring mud season. But even then we have Cape Cod. Cape Cod is a sand bar so the trails down there drain well. Too much snow in boston area? Drive to the cape. Too much snow on cape and boston...Go to rye skatepark in New Hampshire. Too much snow everywhere.......should be thinking about snowboarding/snowshoeing not riding....hard to do but its possible.
I love living in Boston...great local trails and riding community. If we get enough snow we try to pack it down w/ snowshoes before a freeze then ride it.
If all else fails there is always the trainer in my basement:nopity:

My winter riding plans involve a lot more time on the bike with Lil Manimal. We seemed to have missed a lot of riding opportunities this year due to my work schedule even though we did make most of the local races. I promised him this spring that we would finally make our pilgrimage to Rays Bike Park this winter and I think that is going to happen the last weekend of January. We're also going to do the annual Icycle Night DH race at Fontana Village, NC. I took Noah last year for his first time and he really enjoyed it although riding fast at night was a bit of a step for him and I could tell he was rather scared at times. This year, weather permitting, he'll be much more mentally prepared for that race. I also plan on finishing the pump track/dirt jumps at the house so that we don't have to venture far on those frigid low daylight times after school. So hopefully, if all goes as planned, I will get to do some good riding at some fun places and really spend some quality time with the man child away from the pool of estrogen that is the female majority of my house ;)

my plans for the winter are to ride as much as a i can. combine lots of mileage on the local trails with some plyometrics and weight room for conditioning. on top of that i will be going to my physical therapist once a week to keep re-conditioning my shoulder from a recent a/c ligamnet tear. aside from that i will be doing the southrigde winter series starting in january. and of course you will find me with a shovel and some cutters cleanin up the local trails!
My winter riding will mean sticking with the bike commute, with occasional riding on the trails when there's not too much rain and mud. (looks like a good year for that, so far it's sunny and warm in November...)
The commute is so effin mellow...

I'm staying in shape by watching my diet a little more, and walking or riding instead of taking the car whenever practical.
I'm fortunate to have a flexible work schedule so I plan on riding during the day when the sun is up; trails when dry and rideable, the road when the trails are a no-go, and god forbid the trainer when I can't bear to be outside. I hit the gym a few times as I think a little muscle helps keep me in one piece when I crash.
If I can escape to someplace warm and sunny once to mtb I'll be thrilled. AZ is always a good break around Feb or March.
Plus, I just pulled the trigger on a new-to-me hardtail frame that I'll build up over the coming months, so I have a kick ass new street/DJ/trail bike to play with. Keep the stoke alive during the long cold winters is as much mental is anything, and building a new bike is always fun and good for the head.
edit: pic added for perspective ... winter here doesn't mean low 50s and cloudy. :D

Hmmm, my winter riding/training plans. First off, ride! last winter the pond down the road froze good and there was an embankment we used a drop in. Pretty fun tryin to ride on ice and funny watching each other eat it a few times. It gets cold up here and that means hard, frozen trails which leads to fast rolling trails. That's never a bad thing.
My bike is now limiting me alot so I was dreaming of building a new bike this winter, but I barely have the funds to maintain my current bike never mind a new one. Coincidentally I was checking out surreal junior frames a few days before I saw this thread. :)

As far as riding, I'll ride any chance I get. Whether it be DH, XC, Road, or a spin class. That's the nice thing about SoCal. Soo many choices.
I also plan on racing the Southridge winter series in Fontana, CA. I'm looking forward to riding Big Laguna to Noble Canyon again this year during the next snow storm. It's one of those epic rides that really let you know what you're made of.
I bought the P90x dvd's and plan on starting the first of december. Gotta look good for xmas and new years. 90 days of challenging my body should get me into shape for the spring riding season. But plain and simple... I just wanna ride.

I just ordered some winter shoes. Right now we are in the off season here in MN, freeze-thaw cycles mean no trail riding. So it's time to test out light set-ups on commuting rides. Hopefully soon, the ground will freeze hard. If it's still dry it will be like riding rocky ground, which we normally don't have, super excited! But even riding on snow is fun. Like last year, new years day, one of the few days I get to ride with my co-workers from the bikeshop. Great clear weather, 0 degrees, packed but not icy snow, yummy!

I ride Tunnel for fast technical, cold springs for smooth, and san yasidro for corners along with knapps castle for pedaling. Its all good stuff out here in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. can't complain about perfect weather all year long!

Good times!
Get your feet on the pedals ya fairy!!

For winter i'm going to ride my bike in the basement while watching t.v.
I'm also going to do some circuit training, but the most important change for winter I make is that I switch from drinking Magic Hat Circus Boy to Guinness. Thicker beer in the winter helps keep you warm in the gray, windy winters of Ohio

I just received the '09 manual from James, ( MTB strength training systems) so I will finally be starting my workout routine this week and maintaining it throughout the winter. I also have the basement set up as a weight room with the Fuji road bike set up on the trainer.
My goal this winter is to get into great shape and be ready as soon as the first race starts. I need to be healthy and injury free this coming season and I am really excited to have all of our sponsors back for 2009 with Sinister being our main sponsor.
I also hope to get a few road rides in this winter before the snow sticks and then really get on it as soon as the snow leaves in the spring.
