Farewell Northstar, I'll see you next summer

Just rode my last Northstar day of the season, which means my DH riding will be put on hold for a while, and it was pretty much perfect timing: my rear wheel is cracked and on its last legs and my fork seals started leaking this afternoon. Managed to get the very first run down a freshly-watered Livewire, which was absolutely awesome. Good way to say adios to summer and hello to fall.

Hehehe, I feel you there. My fork seals are going out too, tires going bald, and the my rear wheel makes a funny spoke rubbing together noise but only when I pedal hard (wtf?). The bike just needs to hold together until the end of october 5th. :D

In 4 years of riding I've never had wheel problems. NEVER.

yet in the past two weeks I've blown two spokes in my rear wheel. :(

I had a perfect run at the star this season. It was also my first time up this year. No crashing, no bike problems, just lots of great riding.
