New Guy In Berkeley Need To Network

so i'm new up in the bay area....i have my road bike and i have my mountain bike but i don't know of any good routes...or trails...and every time i find something promising i see some bull $hit sign that says..single track not open to bikes....I would gladly love to ignore the sign and do it....but I need an accomplice or two or three.....oh I have not ridden in about 6 months some injury I had but I think I'm good to go..bring on the hills..the dirt...the lactic acid.... and the falls.....

I would try forum.mtbr.com under the Norcal section. There are a lot of XC rides posted there.

It feels like months since I last rode XC... Try JMP and Wildcat. If you see an older guy at Wildcat Canyon leading a bunch of high school aged kids, that Berkeley Mike, former director of the HS Racing League.
