Any recommendations for cross-country, single track, and downhill runs in San Luis Obispo area?

My last time there i couldnt find anything, at all, and i still dont know where to start looking.

Can anyone steer me to the best shop, or someplace, that'll give me the lay of the land?

Are the girls as beautiful there as in Santa Barbara?

(posting here; under "bay and northern cali", even though SLO is central cali. cause southern cali section appears to be an even worst match)

That will give you a start. Montana de Oro is super fun, and there are scads of super rocky trails off of west cuesta ridge on TV Tower road although some are harder to find then others. There is pretty much no limit to the amount of riding avaliable in SLO, just try to hook up with someone down there to show you around. I would go to Foothill Cyclery, they are all super chill guys who will help you out.

Oh, and the girls are twice as beautiful... with half the diseases.

Yeah. And according to statistics, 1 in 2 have an STD.

Good luck with those ladies on Isla Vista.

Girls are better looking and more down to earth here in SLO... and less diseases!

The trails kick ass, there are so many all mountain type as well as many techy downhills.
