THere was a bike a while back where someone put wood stickers all over the fame and it looked like it was really wood. if your desperate for carbon fiber you could probly do that with cf stickers.

ahhahaha seriously, im all for innovation but this thing is just plain stupid, what problem does it solve? or cause now that i read the sentence before?

Run a cromo or susp fork and go ride your bike...this thing would be great for sitting at the roll in ramp with your shiny bike talking about ti bolts and custom paint jobs :twitch:

Working at a composites shop I can assure you that carbon fiber can be laid up to withstand any stresses you could put on it while out dirt jumping, but I guarantee that this fork isn't. Eventually the bond between the carbon and the aluminum will fail, the aluminum will put knicks or scratches in the carbon and then it will indeed crack.
My vote: eventually a crippler

make sure you have insurance. If you are married with kids get Life insurance first- but if you jump with that they may consider it suicide. just check with your insurance rep first.
