I'm planning to change the spring on my ROCO WC to a lighter one. But I do not know the weight of the one I have now.

There is no markings on the spring itself inside or outside, how do i tell what weight the spring is?

The best bet is to contact whoever/wherever you bought the shock from. They should be able to tell you what rate it came stock with (if it came on a bike) or be able to lookup what rate they ordered for you (if you bought the shock aftermarket).

the guy i bought the bike from i am no longer in contact with, and i think the shock was bought aftermarket, it's a supreme 07 frame (non vip) so he changed the shock to a roco wc from the standard shock.

i was hoping there would be an easier way(i dont really know why) maybe ill just have to take the plunge with a new spring and hope its not the same one. i want to 1 lower then the one i have now heh
