Bush: No regrets over Iraq invasion (http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/06/11/bush.europe/index.html)
U.S. President George W. Bush claimed Wednesday that he had no regrets about the decision to invade Iraq...
Shouldn't he at least have 4,000 or so regrets?

He has one regret.
"Removing Saddam Hussein made the world a safer place," Bush said. But he admitted once again that he regretted the tough rhetoric he had used in the run-up to the conflict which had made it appear he was eager to go to war.

You're in a realm of delusion not seen on this planet if you think that a guy who was whacked out on Scooby snacks for most of the 60's and 70's, who never fought his generations fight, and who believes that he had to finish daddy's war would have an iota of regret about anything he's done in his life.
I mean, when you have a 21% approval rating, 21% of people think you're awesome. And that's all that matters.

I'm just waiting for him to get all smacked out like Johnny Rotten and start singing "My Way" out in the Rose Garden...

Any regrets on how poorly executed it was?

Except maybe being prosecuted as a war criminal after his presidency is over.

It won't happen here.
I don't think you'll see too many visits to Europe after his term is up, though.

I'd hate to be on his Secret Service detail after his presidency is up. To be honest though, considering how much of the world he has pissed off, I'm a touch surprised he's made it this far.

Sort of like the guy who gets wasted drunk and plows his car into a family and kills them all. Of course he is fine, just staggering around the accident site looking for his cigarettes.

The US would be in a much different place right now if the SS didn't have portable defibs.
