I can get a SWEET deal on either a Redline R760 or a Lapierre S-tech400. Group is a bit better on the redline but I dig the frame on the lapierre. Anyone have any helpful info on these 2 bikes?

I gotta say I like the spec of the Redline better. While Tiagra works just fine and you could have a bike that a majority of people won't pronounce correctly...I'd go for the R760.
The redline is a nice bike, I would go with that one. Plus you have carbon seat stays for that extra bling :)

I've not ridden the S-Tech400, but have built and tested a few L-Tech400s. While it's an all alloy bike, it rides pretty well. I think the new Tiagra is as nice as the old 105, so I wouldn't shy away from that.

thanks for the input. I had a chance to test a 52cm Lapierre and it felt really big and long (im riding an old 52cm trek) The only smaller size available was a 48 womans and that felt small. So judging numbers alone, a 52 redline could fit the bill. Hopefully, I'll be able to swing a leg over one this weekend.
