Hello Users from RM

Time ago I purchase a 06 Fox rc2. The ex owner wasn't a very careful person with his fork so the fork was almost dead in the inside and outside...

I really love the fork the little time i rode it. I change lowers for the 08 3 months go and the it was in the closet because te catrigde is dead


Where can I purchase a 08 Rc2 Catrigde for the fork ?

I'm chilean and here the isn't a Fox deale
I wanna BUY it.

Is the rebound damping not working in the beginning stroke or not at all? Sometimes you can just re-bleed the cartridge and sometimes there is a small part or 2 that need replacing.

his is pretty screwed up, think the main seal and bushing are dead.

further more, he is pretty set on getting an 08 cart.

Ok, the 2008 Cartridges are loads better but are quite spendy. As another option he could send in his cartridge to someone like Suspension Center and they can mod it to how he likes. I have a full custom one with an air valve on the bottom instead of the RC2 dials and it is sick. I can adjust when my suspension ramps up in the travel with more or less air pressure. I don't know if that particular cartridge is for sale right now but I know he can mod a normal cartridge to one's liking.

BOS Fox 40 Cartridge Upgrade kit costs aprox. 700$ + shipping. I recently bought new FOX 40 RC2 08 for 880$ on ebay.

I didn't think that it would be so expensive in US. Here in europe it is worth it to replace damaged 40 cart. with BOS cart.
