Good grief, only 2.9 pounds, air/coil and only $119 (jensonusa.com).

It seems like the perfect upgrade for my son who's using a Judy TT (setup for ~160 pound people, or heavier, & it's non-adjustable).

With this fork, it seems like he could use lower air pressure and have a fork that actually responded properly for his light weight (~90 pounds) - or am I guessing wrong?

Also, it's 1.6 pounds lighter than the Judy TT - that's really good news.

It's the same fork as the 2000-2001 Manitou SX-R, which was a rather good fork. Not very stiff, but the quality of the travel should give a serious kick in the butt of your Judy TT.

If you're looking for a budget XC fork, it's your best option by far. At this price, you can't go wrong. I sold mine to get a 2001 X-Vert Super BTW. I wanted a stiffer fork and more travel.

ah, Manitou, blah. Buy a RockShox I say. Manitou always seemed cheaply made to me, not upto par with the age tested Rock Shox!
