hoping to warranty them. no leather...it's actually the plasticky piece on the heel, on the outside, right where it meets the carbon sole. co-worker had to warranty his, also...talking to him tomorrow.

just seems like an odd place. i don't really see a lot of stress in that area, unless it happens when I walk in them. We'll see...not too big of a fan of the Speccy rep here.

Not gonna spam a link, mainly cause there not up yet, but we just got a couple pallots of random stuff from trek, and a ton of the Lance Armstrong shoes, road and Mtn, Bunch of the carbon sole versions!!! Took home a pair for myself!!!!!

They should have two shoe lines, and make them fit slightly differently so they aren't in direct competition ala Bell/Giro.

oh, and for those interested, this was the 2nd pair of 2007 SWORKS shoes warrantied for that problem. While looking for a pair of the 08s in my size, I found a pair (2008 model) that were doing the same thing, and will be getting replaced. So...keep an eye out.

so, we've seen 2 pair of 2007 shoes separate at the heel, and now 3 pair of the 2008 SWORKs shoes do the same. My new 08 shoes are showing signs already. Rather disappointing, especially since I love the shoes.

Who doesn't love white shoes? Guess I need to start looking for some other white shoes.
